The Action Challenge

Be A Leader

Since there are no time constraints to accomate TV restraints, might I suggest they play 'old school' rules ?
You know, two-shot pushout - ball in hand.

( there's a whole generation that don't know what that is..... ) :)

At least, THINK ABOUT IT. OK ?

They'd never agree to that, I think. They've both spent their whole careers playing one shot foul bih, and I don't think they are gonna experiment with 10K on the line..

It would be cool though, I admit.

gpeezy and ineedthe8, please respond accepting the terms if we have a bet. As of right now, I have a $60/$50 bet with dimes, and that is all. As has been said by others if terms, location, game changes, we must both agree...

Russ
yes I'd like to bet but are you ok with me being a newb? I have a couple people here who can vouch for me. I'll also PM you my info if you want.

Okay ineedthe8, $50.00 it is. PM me your info.

I now got two bets down, one at $60/$50, one even $50, and waiting for gpeezy to confirm the $100 bet.

Okay dimes you got me for $250. Your $300 to my $250 and I'm taking Shane. Just post here if we have a bet.

The match has be played as posted, a Race to 100 Ten Ball. If there are any changes in format, we must both agree to it, or it is no bet. Understood?

We can settle up after the match.

I'd put the title to my house, car, and company up on Shane....Corey doesn't stand a chance in hell especially in SD think about it...come on folks...Corey may not even win 60 games...is it on a 9ft? or bar box?
yea we all know corey knows nothing about going to people's hometown and pulling through:confused: you willing to make a wager that corey doesnt win 60 games?

Ok, I must be taking my slow pills today. Sorry.

Again, I'll bet $100 that they both win at least 80 games before the set is over. Just a friendly wager if someone thinks there will be more of a blowout.

Thanks.

I am curious. are both sides putting up $ 10,000 each or is an outside party putting up the $ 20,000. Reason I am asking is I want to know they are gambling(putting up $ 10,000 each or is this just a "show"
this is a 2 man invataional we invited shane and cory we told them the structure and they both agreed to the match. they paid their entry fees! it took us 2 weeks worth of back and forth between playersnto workit ou! we made arrangements with the room owner in sioux falls. this is a race to 100! no show here, 1 winner! and i cant wait we have 2 of the best players and gentleman in the pool scene! lets hope the big sponsers are gonna tune in!

I'm interested in a little side action. 6 to 5 seems fair. I'll take Shane for 100 if anyone will put up 120 on Corey. I'd like to make the bet with someone who's been here for a little while.

I think this is a great thing you are doing for pool and I would like to make a suggestion that I think might be interesting.

I think the winner of this match should be crowned the US money champion(as these gentlemen were the first to step up they should have an advantage) and any one who wants to step up and challenge the champ should have to go through the #2 guy first (loser of the initial match), say $10,000 to play the #2 with the winner to play the champion for $15,000.

As people challenge they become a rung on the ladder win or lose and people have to climb over them to get to the champ. If you could manage to fight your way up the ladder over say ten people with a starting match of $2,500 and the next match worth $3,750, then $5,625, then $8,437, then $12,655, then $18,982, then $28,473, then $42,709, then $64,063, then the finals against the champion would be for $96,094(all numbers aproximates I did not round or include decimals).
The players fighting their way up get to keep half of their winnings from each match and half go into challengeing the next person up the ladder, the challenger would have made almost $94,000 by the time he reaches the final match with the champion for a $2,500 investment. If the bottom rung always stays at $2,500 imagine if their were 20, 30, or 40, people what the championship pay out would look like, also anybody on the ladder could challenge the person ahead of them to attempt to move up and any one who doesn't play a challenge match within a six month period forfeits their spot and goes to the bottom of the list.

Just my thoughts, keep up the great work!

thank you.....

Nice thoughts Bern!

Maybe we should have one of these gambling ladder plans for regular posters on AZ. :D

Seriously, those are good ideas. When a player thinks he is ready to take off another player than can have thse big money challenge matches to see who is the U.S. MONEY KING. (PREFER king over champion). aND with THE ACTION REPORT .COM bringing it to every interested party in the world.

Good job JCIN & BigNasty.
Thanks,
JoeyA
