Any ideas why Number 3 was locked? I couldn't even find it.
A true statement, sort of, but Philanthropy isn't a free pass to do or say what you want without retribution. You have to back it with your true character as well.
If I give you a hundred bucks, it doesn't make it right for me to hit you in the face directly after.

Agreed. It was a nice thread from Lou until you-know-who turned up.
You mean instead of using the threads to congratulate lou you and others used them instead to bash me.
So the reason the threads were closed lies squarely with you and several others.
If you post bashing comments in full knowledge and expectation of a response don't act surprised when you get the response.
I am not hitting anyone in the face. I don't give away cases to buy anyone's love nor to get free passes. Wilson has flat out allowed people to abuse me for years.
People have used just about every possible way to insult me with only the most blatant ones getting chastised. And then only after those doing the insulting had already pretty much gotten away with murder.
Do you think its nice to sit here and watch Eric Hu and others call me names? They call me crazy, insane, need meds, douchebag, liar, slaver, pedophile, and much more. Name calling and such attacks are supposed to against the rules.
But does Eric or any of the core Barton stalkers ever really get banned for it? Very very very rarely.
Only if they go so far over the line that their violations can't be ignored.
But they can stand on the line all day stalking and harassing me with insults and never even get a warning.
So it seems like my efforts to "bribe" the forum with free product isn't working.
I give away cases to market my product. I say what I want to say whether I have a product to sell or not.

Are you really so self absorbed that you believe that only pro-Barton camp get banned? Come on now. Your name is in the title but Lou wrote it and it was about your match. Not about you. Part 3 is now closed. Why don't you leave the other two to run their coarse instead of euthanizing them.

Ok. I watched and read all the woofing for months leading up to the match, during the match and now after the match. Here are some facts..
How can anyone call JB bad action? Are you guys frigging kidding me? He put up $ 10,000 of his own money in a game he was an underdog in. He has NO clue how to play one pocket and people call that bad action. He is GREAT action.
Both players played HORRIBLE. John just managed to play worse... JB can woof at me all he wants if he agrees to play me for $ 10,000 and I will make a fair game with him.
I do think Lou is going overboard now with his blog but to the victor goes the spoils and since john ran his mouth so much leading up to the match it is Lou's prerogative to do it. I just dont understand all the hoopla over Lou winning.. It was amazing John got 6 games. Although maybe Lou is trying to get JB to take the heat and get rematch out of it, if thats the case its a nice move
What I would like to know is who the hell were all these "pros" that jB had supposedly been working with leading up to this match? Whoever they were they didn't even show him the basics of one pocket. If JB would have known even 20% more then he knows about one pocket(which isn't saying much) JB would have won the match
JB here is an offer for you. Play him a rematch for $ 25,000.I will work with you for a month and you will win. I will take 20% of your winnings.... Im not saying I can turn YOU and your skills into a top one pocket player( after all you cant make ice cream out of horse shit) but I will improve your game enough to win a rematch

I agree with almost everything you wrote. Except that the people who helped me taught me very well and I went about as brain dead as possible in this match. I was gifted some damn good one pocket knowledge and I failed to apply it.
There will be no rematch because Lou has already stated he won't play. I would want to try again for as much money as I could bring.

Apologies I'm seeing this only now. For as long as I can remember (ever since being on AZB back in 2006 timeframe as a lurker -- joined later), vBulletin had that Multi-quote button.
Lou, it's a godsend of sorts. You know all that replying-to-every-single-post-addressing-you-in-a-response-post-of-its-own thing that you do? You can do the same thing, in one post and in one fell swoop, with Multi-quote. Just click that button (screenshot included below) on each post you want to respond to, to "mark" it, and move to the next one. "Mark" that one, and move to the next one... etc. until you have all the posts you want to respond to "marked." Then click the "Quote" button on the bottom-most one you've marked, and voila! All those posts you've marked will now appear quoted into a Compose post dialog, ready for you to add your own comments.
In fact, I used the Multi-quote feature to response to both of you, and I've added my own twist. After I marked both of your posts and got into a Compose post dialog, I moved Lou's opening "[ QUOTE=lfigueroa;4672563 ]" tag upwards and outside of Bruce's quoted post, to embed Bruce's quoted post inside of Lou's quoted posted, recreating the original "Lou quoting Bruce" scenario. You can do a lot of cool things if you know how to manipulate QUOTE tags. Most people fook them up, because they lop off or misplace one of the "[" or "]" enclosing brackets. You see that all the time here, when you see a completely mangled post where it's difficult to tell where the original quoted post ends, and where the responder's text begins, and you see, in the post's message text itself, these broken "QUOTE" tags without one of its "[" or "]" encapsulating brackets. (An interesting side note to those interested how I did it -- where I mention above about moving Lou's opening QUOTE tag and actually showed the tag in bold, I intentionally inserted a space next to each "[" and "]" to prevent vBulletin from interpreting that tag, because I want the readership to see the actual tag I'm talking about.)
Anyway, the vBulletin software is server-based, not client based. The only thing required on the client side is a relatively up-to-date web browser (e.g. Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Opera, Safari, etc.).
