The document of our pool related road trip across the U.S. updated daily

Like the TURTLE MAN would say,, Man we got live action here.

This is very interesting Rhea, I hope you and Gene the best of luck!

Tell Gene if he can to get back up here in Baltimore (top hat) there is plenty of action for the both of yous.

Gene been here before not to long ago, there is a man that works there, That would be a good match up for Gene.

Iam sure Gene knows who Tom Vanover is, he is 74 years old and still gambles, lots of action there!

Sounds like some fun maybe this spring before headed back to the mid west. My plans for now are to go to Fayettville for about 10 days after the U.S. Open, then to Myrtle Beach for 5 weeks this should keep us out of the cold and in some good action.

But before we decide to go that direction I need to confirm that there is no smoking at Shore Thing Billiards because if there is smoking allowed then Gene wont go there at all.

BTW, 2 of Gate City's tables are on web cams if anyone wants to try and catch Rhea or Gene in action.

Go to www.gatecitybilliards.com and then in the left margin you'll see where to click.

Also Rhea - If you are going to Coliseum Billiards, don't go after sunset. It's REALLY rough there.

"rough" is pretty tame. You get your hat delivered to the hospital at that place.

We stopped in that place about an hour or 2 before they closed, Gene decided to leave rather promptly, I guess I am not very observant I found nothing wrong with the atmosphere at all to me all places and people are the same I don't know what is dangerous I might just go right on up to a drug dealer and start gambling lol

If you don't go bust in 5 weeks at Myrtle Beach you ready to take on the world

Her name is Margaret she is the youngest of all 5 girls.

Today was great, I bought 100% of Gene in the calcutta for only $90. What a steal! He won his first match 9-6. Plays his second match tomorrow at 3pm so its time for him to get some well deserved rest. We did have some waffle house after we left the pool room. Before his match I was trying to match up with some locals and to prove to them that I really just wanted to gamble I agreed to flip a coin for $100, Gene came over and was sweating it when it landed on tails he seemed rather relieved that I won the bet

Rhea, iam sure Gene already told you about flipping coins while on the road, that is just bad action all the way around, it draws crowds and other thiings, strangers see you flipping coins for 100 a flip, they think you and yours is carry large, Dont go flipping coins for 100 where you are a stranger, that is asking for trouble!

Rhea you dont have to prove anything to pool players to get them to play you a set, for you own good dont go around to strange
places and be loud with your money, flipping coins for 100 is being very loud!

Good luck guys on the rest of your way, i wish i was there with you guys and iam sure iam not the only one!

99.9 that you're playing a slinger there. Just another lesson learned my friend.

He probably meant drug slinger. Anyway I called Shore Thing in Myrtle Beach they are a smoking room so that foils our plans, now we may instead head toward Brickyard after the U.S. Open and then Olympia WI instead but no guarantee yet.

Dope slinger

Take one step in C Billiards at night and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that if you're not packing and don't have a pocket full of hard drugs, you're in the minority. Enjoy the dark walk to your car...

That's not going to keep you out of the cold weather.

I haven't been there in a while, but when I hung out there it was like date night most of the time with some gambling on the front tables. I think the neighborhood is shady and getting out of there at night (being strangers) could be spooky.

Yes come on and lets get to gambling. Everybody is buzzing about our 5k sets.

Mark is ready to play you some more too.

At the end of the day a drug dealer is just trying to make money. The last thing they want is heat or to bring attention to themselves. Its not worth it to them to hurt you. Its nothing to be worried about.
