Earl's story is a classic.
He's actually in very good form right now, showing solid play in November at both the Accu-stats 8-ball event and the Ocean States Championship.
Might be one to watch at the Derby next month.
late to the party much???![]()
Would like to see a good hd quality copy of it with the audio in sync.
Even better if you have a Smart TV. You can watch it big screen with the YouTube app or blue tooth if you have a console. The Full Earl Strickland story is on YouTube

Might have held out some stories for his DVD set? Hope I get that for Christmas. Being a NC boy it really brings back memories. Even after Earl left every move Earl made was on "the wire" within a day. Pretty amazing with no Internet and long distance calls.I could be wrong, but I'm guessing that the guy that everyone told Earl that he couldn't beat was Pete Horn. When I first saw Pete Horn in around '89 or '90, he played really strong. And one of the older guys said that he used to beat Earl over and over. I thought that Earl finally beat him. But, since Earl never mentioned it on the interview, maybe he didn't. That is something that I would think Earl would have mentioned very quickly.

I sure do miss Detective days.
