I just wanted to see how many of you have observed the bangers standing the house cue up on the table by the rail and moving the cue ball off of the rail by the width of the butt. I see it at least once a week; I laugh everytime...

Name something funny that you see the bangers doing...
 
HAHA. We always talk about this. We call it "Space." Another good one is if they accidentally touch the cueball, they say it didn't move 6 inches so they get to shoot again. We've had some great conversations when it comes to this type of stuff.

I like the ones who roll the house cue on the table just because they saw others do it, but dont really know why they are doing it.
 
Also note: this will sometimes be done by a guy right after he makes fun of someone else for using the crutch...
 
Funniest thing , to me to see , is someone racking and putting thier cue straight up (butt) in the corner pocket while they rack.

Just funny to look over and see.

Most of the time I see it here is when I am playing a woman, whether they are good or not...

I just remind them that they were the ones that fought for equal rights, so they can shoot off the rail just like I have to. :D

Most of the time that just labels me as a jerk, but I am serious about my game and I appreciate it when the people I am playing are serious as well.
 
I always think its funny when you see a guy playing with his girfriend who can't even hold the cue right. The girlfriend has this wobbly bridge and shakey stroke, and she desperately tries to hit the cue ball, but she can't. Usually, she miscues and then stabs at the cue ball again immediately afterwards - usually miscuing a second time - only to have another swing and a miss - strike 3 - strike 4 - strike 5

The boyfriend then takes over and he's no better than she is, yet he tries to show her how its done.

My favorites are those that think its a show of a power when they sail the CB 50' after barely touching the rack when they break...

this is after they've whiffed it or miscued the first time...

which reminds me that you get a do-over as long as the CB doesn't touch the rack..."quick grab the cue ball!"
 
When they just walk in, they tend to have their backs to the first table (my table!), and a nice HARD break makes them jump pretty bad. Awesome!
 
I think it's hilarious when they go to bridge and instead of using a closed or vee they line up the shaft between their 2nd and 3rd knuckles

One thing that pisses me off more than anything is when they use both hands on the cone chalk like they're jacking off a tree stump, after which the table looks like some powdered a baby's butt on it

Oh man, I forgot about that...they make a chalk cloud that floats around the room for a while...
 
I've always liked the ones who get a rack of balls and go rack the balls on the Billiard table. Usually don't notice until after they break the balls and start looking for pockets. This one used to have us rollin!!
 
I lije it when the banger brings his date in to "teach" her how to play and she detroys him. With each game she wins he can she the bed getting farther and farther away. Johnnyt
 
Another good one is when they try trick shots that they have seen in COM, PHJ, The Hustler etc. For some reason it's entertaining as hell to watch someone set up the exact same shot 15 times and miss it horribly every single time

I like that one and the ole " yeah,..... I pretty much hustled my way through college" that shit gets me every time
 
I like it when people place the eight-ball on top of the other balls when racking and it falls into place-it is pretty cool. It takes practice though and is only usually done by good players! :p
 
I like the "after racking the rack spin" between the palms of the hands.
Or placing the 8 ball on top of the back row so when you push the triangle forward to rack the 8 ball falls nicely in place.

lol, yea, and when they put the powder on when they are wearing a glove... ive seen that one a few time too.
