The International 9-Ball Open

Use to think Grabe was ok when he played WCOP few years ago. But in past couple of years, he has been a jerk. He either has something to say to maybe 'shark" or put off his opponent.
I would add him to

Blacklist of Players with Bad Attitude
Mika Immonen
Karl Boyes
Earl Strickland
Dennis Grabe
Joshua Filler

There are probably many more that I missed out :D

In their match at last year's Mosconi, Hatch made Filler look like Will Rogers (or, if you wanted a pool player here, Tony Robles). Hatch and Earl should, perhaps, top your list.

No question those 2 could spot the field the 7 and the breaks

Well... Given the two matches being played in this time frame, I have to admit I would have preferred to see SVB-Orcollo.

I get that they both get lots of TV time, so Accu-Stats wants to spread the love around, but Sanchez-Ruiz isn't really defending himself all that well. At least Dennis has gotten on the board.

OK, Jay, you've convinced me. He's not Baby Ko any more. Ko Ping Chung will play for the hot seat!

Ko Ping Chung never was Baby Ko....he’s Little Ko.
There’s another brother who’s still mid teens....that’s Baby Ko....
...soon, apparently, to hit the worldvscene also.

Agreed, Russ. JL Chang went into this winners bracket semi as a heavy favorite and is, without question, the man to beat for the title. SVB vs Orcullo, however, is a match involving two of the game's greats who are great rivals, with the loser eliminated. Both JL Chang and Sanchez Ruiz can be shown in a later round, so the choice should have been clear.

Chang is the closest thing I've seen to Buddy Hall since Buddy Hall.

Certainly a reasonable comparison. I'd say JL Chang breaks better than Buddy did but Buddy was the better pattern player, perhaps the best ever.

Like Buddy, JL Chang is unflappable in the heat of battle and a guy you really don't want to see in your draw.

JJ just said it's 9-9 Shane and Dennis, with Dennis at the table. Live scoring still says it's 8-6 Shane.

Shane makes a ball on the break. But table looks clustered, can't tell if he has a shot, the camera is far away.
