Not sure you will find backers for more than two or three players top, and players will not pay thier own money , hope it happens...

Players

Just open it up,no cap on players, and have a calcutta. easy 100k or more. Rich aka the skunk. I might come out of retirement for this.

You think it's worth the time and travel to chop $2k? Or you just like to throw around allegations?

Allegations? LLC is a term for a corporation, as in having multiple people put you in a high entry fee tourney. I don't think that's an allegation or an insult.

Maybe he thinks all pool players are loaded, and just have an extra $2k around to play in a tournament with practically no dead money, i.e. bad players.

Wasn't there another (or multiple) high buy-in tournaments this year? Does anyone know how many players actually put up all of their own money?

richie R will not play or should not play he has been robbed multiple times with trying to step in with the best players, hes a little better than sort stop one pocket player has no chance

j bergman might play\
busty dennis etc it depends on travel but this is amrt doing it at the west coaast swing time, players be here for chuck markulis, and the other big tournys before US bar table and rum runner

danny smith should play in it with how he has been playing but not sure if he has the stones yet since he keeps dodging guys like j hall

appleton i think needs to play to put on a goos showing he saays one pocket his favorite game but not shown much yet and getting beat bad from danny s must of hurt

svb i not sure he will be up there if plays
i like coreys 1 pocket game a lot he could snap it off
i dont like frost in short races dont think he will win, but sure he will gamble anyone afterwards lol

anyhow great event and thanks for free stream lenny

I agree Richie is a ball below the others BUT he likes to step up and HE considers himself among the best

I think that he was implying that a corporation of backers would be required, not that the players would chop up the minimal added cash.

I'm glad that events like this happen. But it is really too bad that the players and backers have to front all of the cheddar. It sure would be something if players had a real target to shoot for one day...

I misinterpreted your post, sorry.

If AZ wants to get together to put me in this I'll accept. I'm a bonafide C player who never plays 1 pocket, but I do promise to drink a lot and miss my matches.

Must have Box for the live stream commentary!!!

Unless you play One Pocket, which I don't, you need a very good commentator to explain the strategy and nuances of the game. Box does this better than anyone. If you want to open the game of One Pocket up to many more people he is a major asset and masterful commentator.

I am looking forward to watching the matches and learning from Box!

Thank you,

John Halter

Who doesn't like Box.

as far as i know bill incardona will be here to help with the commentary !!!

Bill Incardona would be a blessing!! Fast Lenny knows the game quite well also and I am sure he will help provide good commentary ...

Consider adding Bobby Cotton in the booth with Dr. Bill and Box and FastLenny...gonna be a lot of air time to cover.

If this goes off...Frank the Barber and Onepocket Rich would be good commentators too.

Hope this happens...Good luck to all involved.

Cool. Big Truck would charge $40 a day. LOL

Dave Dave Dave. We did the Smokin Aces 6k event for 29.95.

I think it's awesome if Lenny can find a way to stream this event for free, It's a great opportunity to introduce some folks to one pocket.

Best of luck to Lenny and all the players involved.

I love the long race! You may need more than one set of commentators per match though, hah.

I hope you get the best of the best for this one. I was a little disappointed when Accustats did their big one pocket challenge on a 10 foot table. It just changed the break so much.

I agree with the need for more than one set of commentators. Commentators can wear down pretty quickly with multiple, consecutive hours in the booth. It is almost like playing pool. Energy levels are reduced as time goes on.

If the available commentators are plentiful enough, I would rotate them a minimum of every 6 games, just to keep them fresh.

Commentating one pocket for long periods can be difficult that is for sure. I streamed a marathon match and sat there for about 30+hours straight.

I agree. Box makes an interesting game more interesting.
