Troy, I know you must be feeling the same way as I am. I keep expecting to see a few text messages and pics. when I get up from him. A phone call to get an opinion on a possible watch, knife or cue deal..... I think we figured out one day that we must of spent a couple of thousand dollars between us on shipping alone between us. I am wearing one of Doug's watches rite now and plan to keep it as one of the many loves we shared. I remember complaining one day to him about my old watch had stopped working and could'nt stand not having some sort of timepiece. The next day, I got a surprise package in the mail from him, a Rolex for me to wear/ keep if I wanted. Totally shocked, I was floored by the one of MANY gestures he showed to me over the years. I could go on and on with many examples of his friendship.
I could go on and on with the selfless acts he would do for a friend. We shared many interests that go way beyond pool and material things. He was a true friend that can never be replaced or forgotten. They say it gets easier with time but I don't know about that!
Sadly, Vinny
