really nice guys who I'm hoping will change my username to either Dizzy or azbdizzy once I get their attention.

The reason for the change is I no longer live in St Louis and can't answer pm's about the St Louis pool scene, and I have vertigo so the other usernames make more sense.

Maybe I'm such a legend here that they don't want to do it, but I doubt it.

Al,

What do you take for Vertigo? My ex has a bad case of it. Hospitalized a couple of times.

I took meclizine, or however you spell it, and it made my head hurt so bad I thought it would explode any minute. I found out I have inner ear nerve damage. I can never sleep on my right side or I'm dizzy for days when I wake up. A lot of times my left shoulder hurts from having to sleep on it all the time and then it's hard shooting pool when your shoulder hurts.

I take medication for Gout and another pill for high blood pressure. I thought I was in pretty good shape for an old guy until I wrote this so now I'm thinking it won't be long before I get to see Jennifer Love Hewitt. :smile:
 
Maybe if you sweeten the pot by buying a membership they would help ya out. :)

I bought a membership a few months back. Last month, I PM'd all the mods about changing my name. I never got a reply. So, I sent Mike (AzHousePro) another PM last week. I told him that I understood if the name change wasn't in the cards, but I would appreciate a response of any kind.

Still nothing.

So with that said, I can say with 100% certainty that a membership offers no leverage in the case. I also find it rather rude that I can't get a response to what has amounted to four separate PM's to various moderators about the same inquiry.

Even if someone wrote back with the words "NO, F*CK OFF" in all caps, I'd at least feel like I was worth acknowledging.

She takes the same thing! You'd think the medical research business would have found something new in twenty years but.... If they found a cure for cancer, MS or ALS tomorrow, how many people might it put out of work? We can land on the Moon. Put a robot on Mars. Can't cure or prevent disease's throwing untold hundreds of millions of research dollars at them. They are no closer today than in the ninety's. Something smells fishy. Like profits.

Did you mean an admin or really just "someone"? If the latter, I'll join Ross in a hearty "NO, F*CK OFF" just to make you feel better. :)

Read post #8. The mods apparently don't give a crap about who spends money to support the site. I've been here for over three years, been a club member, and never had any issues regarding my behavior or anything. And I can't even get a response to my inquiry.
