Delivered at the ICCS last month, this is the newest masterpiece from Dennis. To say I am thrilled would be the understatement of the year. Let me tell you a little about it:
I asked Dennis to put in a few “firsts” and he exceeded my expectations.
It looks simple because there are no inlays in the points or butt sleeve, but the more you look, the more amazed you become. Now, enjoy the pictures!!!

- * Ivory over SS 5/16 x 14 piloted joint.
- * Honduran Rosewood Burl points and butt sleeve. BEM forearm.
- * Thin black (.02mm) - thin maple (.025mm) – normal black (.03mm) veneers (inside to outside).
- * Beautiful elephant ear wrap. Seam is invisible.
- * Ivory Hoppe ring with “SEARING” in silver.
- * Over 200 inlays in the ringwork and joint protectors.
I asked Dennis to put in a few “firsts” and he exceeded my expectations.
- * First use of double silver rings. Check the joint collar, shafts, and protectors.
- * First use of triple rings above and below the Hoppe ring.
- * First use of a twelve inlay design in the ringwork. Previous cues had eight.
- * The sharp, scalloped diamonds in the joint collar, shafts, and protectors are
- the smallest he has ever done, and each one has a tiny burl diamond inside.
It looks simple because there are no inlays in the points or butt sleeve, but the more you look, the more amazed you become. Now, enjoy the pictures!!!
