The next Efren ?

He is a good player, those pockets are gigantic though. He overcut a few shots that the pocket vacuumed in that most tables (normal 4.5 inch pockets) would not take.

I watched Wu play at 14 years old and he played world class already at that age. I am not sure this 12 year old is good enough already to be where Wu was only 2 years later.

I am not seeing the "next Eaten" there. The kid is good, but not that good.

I would have to agree. The kid is very good but the table plays very easy and later on in the video he takes ball in hand whenever he gets bad position. Don't get me wrong- the kid is good but I don't know if he is the next superstar yet.

On another note- I can't count the number of kids I've seen that are gifted at a sport from a young age but never amount to anything in said sport when they get older. I hope this kid keeps at it and doesn't lose the drive.

A girl will come along and that will be the end of that!

 IMHO, the 14 year old girl, Chezka Centeno, is more impressive. She along with another 14/15 year old kid made waves when they beat the team-up of Dennis Orcullo/Carlo Biado in the recently concluded Manny Pacquiao Cup (wish we can view the whole match). Give her a couple of years and she will start placing in tournaments.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=afuGoJ3ToRU - she was just 13 yrs old here and she ran a 15-ball rotation as if it was nothing

nice article about her. She beat Rubilen Amit twice in a tournament.

Kid plays good. I'm sure there are some that can keep up or pass him but he does have a nice touch on the cue ball.

Kid plays great but there will never be another Efren. I am so glad I had the pleasure to watch him play at his best.
