Pete Tonkin

Pete is doing really fantastic work. Not only is the execution perfect, the
design work is fantastic. His proportions are dead on. Everything flows from joint to butt cap.

hi im good friends with pete and helped work the both at vf this year i i have two three pice handle cues comeing at the end of the month and one at the next vf show great playing cue if u can get one buy it .

Incredible pair of cues... I will need to check ALL of the Tonkins out next time.

Pete does some of the most amazing designs and builds.

Thanks for sharing.

Nice looking cues.

I like how the butterflys in the forearm are longer than most in that kind of design.

snakewood & ivory pair

I just want to take the time to let everyone know these are three point cues with bridged veneers. So the points are spaced 120 deg. so the bridges had to be cut out of arcs and the bridge pocket is a four axis tool path.

Clean lines..

I once tried that and it was no good..
I didn't cut the bridge from arcs, so, they only met at one diameter, and,
the gap seperates and gets wider the deeper I went..

Steve, you picked a winner!!!!

Alton < only can go 1 extra mile...

Until recently I wouldn't have known what that meant. Pretty cool, Pete! Too many times the "behind the scenes" work is missed.

That explains it, very nice!!! Great pair, they should stay as a pair IMO.

that design is VERY strong, I hope you keep using it.

congrats Steve!!!

Incredible cues, Steve, thank you for sharing them, and all of your others also. You keep my blood flowing, lol. Rod.

Steve,

Individually, those cues are tremendously beautiful! However, when you look at the two side by side as you have them in the pictures, they almost seem to "complete" each other in a complimentary way...
