Behold my new super weapon! It took me years but I finally learned a technique which can regularly send CB and every other ball in its way flying. It's also the best technique for breaking I ever used. The key is in holding the shaft of the cue with a rather weak and light grip instead of grasping it tightly. Then, when you propel the cue forward, it actually slides through your fingers for a few additional centimeters, acting like an accelerating projectile. The power it can give to the CB is immense, which already helped me win several matches. It's also incredibly fun to use that technique, and it surely attracts the audience.

Hey you are getting better! Before your posts were just pointless, now they are stupid too!

The only crowd this would attract are all of the people laughing at you.

I bet you've had a lot of experience with such crowds in your life ;)

Do you take a running start too?

p.s. I think you and English! should get together for a discussion.

No, I haven't tried that... yet...

I would just like to know who ever advised using a finger death grip on the shaft.

I leave just enough space to allow the cue to move freely, but I definitely don't let the cue go flopping all over the place.

I probably have the best closed hand bridge in the biz :)

It's deja vu all over again...
Btw, please remove that banger description from under your name because I spoke with my fellow bangers and we decided that you're giving us a bad name.

try using the other end of your break cue, there's more contact area, plus it's rubber, therefore mach3 is attained.

your welcome.

The cue is not actually going any farther. You're letting the cue stick "bounce" on impact. It makes the cue ball go airborne and gives the illusion of a harder hit. Works great for scaring opponents if the cue ball squats.

Best,
Mike

With breakthroughs like this you may get assigned to a larger village.
With all due respect from your biggest fan.

Thanks but more power tham this would be counterproductive...

I can assure you the CB gets more power. The balls on the break are more scattered, OBs move much faster and longer, and you can hear one hell of a bang :D

When I saw Gene Hackman for the first time in my life, playing pool of course I couldn't believe my eyes in butterfly stroke he has been using. That light technique allowes him to play so flawless.
Gene was master, still is when wants and his sense for rails is from another world.Nobody can't come out with thast kind of shoots he has been using regularly.Alan aka Albu can confirm all of this, for some of you who thinks that all of this is non sense. But it's how it was.Gene even want to share his secrets with all who is interested. He isn't one of those mystery kind stars !!!!

Gene is such a nice guy and champsic was his guest at his border house too.Actually,he was one who saw a deer at the enter of the wood that is behind Gene's house. His medical treatment was bad at that time and he couldn't believe his eyes,so very next day he went to visit a doctor who said him that he has eyeproblem and that he should keep rest and so on.So he did.Later they found out that he really has eye problem. He cannot see him self working. So he decided he will never work again.
