the TAR guys...

Fatboy obviously does things that nobody here will ever be able to do, and that is give money to worthwhile productions that try to make our sport what we all want it to be. I didn't pay the 15 bucks because I was late on knowing when it was happening. I think the way Eric comes off it part of the problem, but he obviously didn't make his money being an eloquent speaker, and politician to everything and everyone. But I think we should ignore the things we don't like about what he says and how he says it, and just focus on the fact that he gives when others can't or won't. Maybe someday he can get together when other wealthy pool enthusiasts and make a unified tour, something KT failed on, and what Tim Dennis couldn't even get started.

OK. Just so I can understand, FatBoy donates some money to TAR and he sucks because he tells us about it asking us to support TAR too? Does he suck because he did it? Or does he suck because he told us about it? Or does he suck because he asked us to support TAR also? I'm sure those that use this as an example of how FatBoy sucks are right, I'm just having a little trouble seeing it.

Does Vijay Singh also suck for the commercials he's doing for St. Jude? He also tells us about his contribution (5K per eagle) and asks us what we are going to do.

FatBoy posts that the world of pool and AZ is a little too negative for it's own good and gets negative posts about that. He posts that he gave some cash to TAR (which is really one of the only ways we can see competitive pool nowadays) and gets slammed for that? It seems ironic to me, but again, I'm sure I'm just missing what he did there that deserved a negative post at all.

FatBoy added 1K to the Swanee and flys in and puts up a world champion to raise the allure of that event and folks find the negative in that?

FatBoy sux and I won't like him until he is broke and humble.

your right, its like jail. For 3 years I havent ben able to do much, i have had a bit of ok times in there. I want from a Bodybuilder(not good enough to compete) to a cripple. I knew my whole life I had back problems-now they caught up with me, I'm so lucky to have the ability to work from home, I'm not able to even sit at a desk for more than 15 minutes. When I played in the 10 ball ring game at the Derby I was in bed about 20 hours the day before it and almost the whole day just before the game started, I'm ok for the first 1-2 hours out of bed then i'm done. sux but thats the hand i was delt.

i made this thread because these guys are my friends and I just wanted to encourage people to support them, they are out there busting their balls and losing $$$, They never offered a piece of the action as an investor, so I do other things for them, my dream is the same as theirs. What i dont want to see is guys talking about how great it was back in the day when we had TAR, meaning that if they dont get into the black sooner than later they are gonna disappear they cant keep losing $$$ and time., I dont work for free, I assume you work and get paid, would you go to work and pay who ever it is your working for? no, you get the $$$, well right now TAR isnt getting the $$$ to cover the production part of it let alone their personal expensis-they are working for a loss, and thats bull shit.

i sold a car for $1,200,000, 2 weeks ago-which is a super small % of what I am(have you ever had $1.2M?), i didnt mention it here until now(and wouldnt have), just to illustraite how shallow your thinking is(about me), otherwise i never would have said a word because its just a car-I have lots more but I'll spare you the details, how's that?. You have no idea who I am or what I can really do(nobody here really knows much about me including Jay), its ***** like you that make want to do nothing as you would be the first in line for what ever you could grab for free, beg for a ride in a Enzo, and truth be told you would love to have the life I live(cars, porn stars, jets, travelling the world, houses, not sweating $$ etc.), but you dont so you sit there and hate because your too weak to applaude success, i have friends on the Forbes 400 i have no jealousy of them, i learn from them, thats the difference between us, dosent make me a better person but at least I step up, just like the Tooth thing I posted. If your gonna criticize me fine but back it up, want to flip for something?

JCIN, personally, I don't mind the one camera in a stationary position - it makes me feel at home, that's exactly what I see when I'm railing some big action at the home room (again, something some people know nothing about)

come to Vegas we'll have some fun, the Enzo is gone but I have some other fun toys, the Enzo was to light and scary, I haven driven it but 70 miles in the past 6-8 months because my back is so bad i cant take the pain, and driving that car or any car on pain meds is irresponsible. Also I honestly got board with cars, since I got back to pool, (even though I play not as much as I like) I really got board with cars.

I like pool better and the people in pool better for the most part, alot of the car people have real tight rings (_)*(_) and I dont like that, one guy I know blows $350,000 a year for the EXACT same car every year(model, color,interior color) the only thing different is the model year and he loses $150,000 every year doing this, he has done this 4 years in a row, he just wants to say he has a 08, 07 etc. I'm not into people that uptight. I like the cars for the fun of driving them not to brag about them-90% of the time 10% of the time the flash factor is fun.

I dont want to list what else I have done for pool, players, room owners, etc because I might be a bad guy for saying what I have done. So perhaps the best thing to do is nothing for nobody and just be like alot of other people.

Hopefully the sale of that Enzo will float your butt for a week or two. When it gets to the point of selling some Szams or not eating, please let me know and I'll be over with burgers to trade for cues.

i figure the Enzo $$$ will cover my nut for exactly 16 days, so by the 17th day the Tads are gonna go and the 18th day i'll be hocking the SW's, then the Barrys, and the Bushkas and Gus's last. By then your right a hambuger will be fine, i dont like cheese so I'll just keep a extra shaft unless you have a milk shake for me then you can have both shafts. Man its getting brutal, oh well back to square one,

I'd blackmail you by threatening to tell Barry you said you'd sell off your Barrys before your Bushkas, but we both know Barry would be all, "That makes perfect sense, George made a great cue".

It never ceases to amaze me how many people today think they are entitled to life, how they should recieve the legress of the government as a matter of course. That somehow, we should carry them and provide thier needs. That because they struggle they are entitled. Entitled to what? Struggle is part of the pursuit of happiness. Man, get a life. Get off Fatboys back. If you envy him, then work and and outstrip him. There is so much vitriol toward him. Why? Envy, jealousy and what ever. Crap. I work, struggle and live. My troubles are no ones fault, it is just part of life. This is a great forum, but, there is an under tone of negitivity here that I don't understand.... Are some of you that dissatisfied with your life you need to unload that spleen here? Man o' man. Eric is a good guy, sharing with the rest of us and promoting a game many of us love..... Fatboy isn't always the smoothest talker out there but I certainly respect his desire to help the TAR guys along the way. One of his posts in this thread was a bit tasteless, but his respectable post to tasteless post ratio is better than most people's...that's for sure.

Next time I head to Vegas to play blackjack, I'll likely be harassing him to meet up for a drink or steak as the only things I plan in vegas are lots of blackjack and having breakfast at the Paris buffet. I already got my fast car fix in Germany...and that high is going to last for years.

If somebody wanted to help me with my business, they could post it for the whole world to see and I'd still be grateful. Everyone likes to be appreciated and honestly he's not just helping TAR, he's helping most of us by his donations to TAR. So while you're watching your free broadcast quit bashing fatboy.
