I just acquired this Gus sneaky and wow, what an amazing player. It has that loud church bell <<<ping>>> when striking whitey. It's 58" and straight as an arrow. This cue was bought from Gus by my friend in 1977.

A rare bird, indeed.

Gus made me a sneaky with 2 shafts from an ebony Dufferin I mailed him in 1983. I sold it a year or so later to a player in San Diego now deceased. Cost me $300 back then. Lol.

One of my biggest regrets is selling a Frank Paradise Ebony sneaky Pete- it hit like no other sneaky I ever owned including the Scruggs sneaky, which was the closest hit to that Paradise - I sold it for about $160 about 20 years ago!

I dont use the monster terminology but it hits at the top of any sp I've ever hit with and that's a lot. With that said, hit is always a subjective matter so as impressed as I am with this cue you might try it and think it's a wet noodle. But I don't think you would.

And yeah, looks right off the wall at the Moose Lodge.
