There are no objective points of aim in a shot.

A example of objective aiming points is in shooting. Depending on what you are shooting, there can be two or three objective aiming points.

In the case of open sights, there are three. The rear sight, the front sight and the target.

With scope, there are just two. The crosshairs in the scope and the target, but again these are real.

These are real. Everyone see the same aiming points because they exist in the real world and not in your mind.

Everything about aiming in pool happens in your mind. What you project from your imagination onto the imagine of the shot in your mind is what is fooling you into thinking what you are imagining is real. The mind does not know real from unreal.

At one time, I played online F/A 18 dogfighting flight sim web site. There were times I felt as if I was in actual combat flying. "I" knew this was a sim, but the mind did not.

Enjoy.......

OMG. If your looking at the edge of the CB to the center of the OB are these not objective aiming points?

Just because you can't see them, doesn't mean they're not objective.

The target points on a CB/OB are just as objective as those of a rifle (scoped or unscoped): you're just assuming a larger target using a rifle. If you assume the same-size target (about 2mm) your rifle points become seemingly less objective too. (How do you know you aim was correct when you sent a 9mm bullet to a 2mm target? You can't.)

Hard to see? Yes. But they're still objective.

I suspect Duckies problem is related to the average height of a troll. He likely cannot see the balls from where he is standing.

Gerry: now you owe me a new keyboard-almost spit out all of my coffee by reading this....from laughing- rotflmao!

need towels...still have tears in my eyes-...lolol

this is probably why he hasn't placed in the top 100 of
the U.S open.....with good lighting..he probably doesn't
know he can see his tip in the cue ball either.

If I am to understand correctly the edges of round objects do not exist they are only in my mind?

Very existential man.

No. You're wrong.

Every reply is taking you down. You are all alone and mis-understood by all, which means there is much in what you say. I think I see what you are saying. And being a duck I'm sure you will just let it roll off your back.

It is a shame you will never know the true joy that comes with making balls obey your will. You will never know what it means to come with "tough" shots when the chips are down. It's more of a shame that you are actively trying to stop other people from improving as well.

If Ghost Ball or Arrow Aiming or whatever you want to call it were better then you would be able to post your videos equaling or surpassing those posted by aiming system users. Greg the proof is not in the words, the proof in the deeds. Let's see it. I don't think you can run a rack of nine ball. Use the Arrow for every shot and I still think you can't do it.
