They are here part II!

very nice cue
the hoppe style is for me

i am wondering if it is a full splice
and how can you tell

i thought mike made some regular cues that came together above the wrap

i honestly don't know but if its for sale ,i would like to hear from you

Nice cues. WHat are the lengths of the butts? They look a little short. Points dont seem extremely long but come very near to the joint. Makes me think the cue would be 57 or even 56 inches unless the shafts are 30 or 31 inches themselves. Either way, nice cues.

It is not a full splice, in the last few years Mike was widening the points at the wrap, and making them a bit longer.

Nice pickups.

This man knows his Cues.

Mike and Timi's work. These Cues are literally a good part of the last of the last batches. Timi is building one last Cue at this time. It is spoken for.

Nick,

Really nice pickup...and yes especially the hoppe! I really like the wide points - definitely has the look of a full-splice!

The last Hoppie

I am pretty sure this Cue has the longest points of any they made. Mike was building differant legnth and width proing sets always looking to improve. They wanted happy customers. And always tried to improve their builds.
I am very luck to own this Hopp. The last three Cues pictured are best of the best in design and construction. Tim Scruggs Cues at their best. And Mike Cochran Cues at their best. He was building that Cochran as a Christmas present to himself. He loved it. After about two months of being an ass pain about the cue I said Mike I have a better Christmas present for you. Money. It was about a week before his last Christmas. He said you got it Nick. I wanted a Scruggs also but he said I had to choose. He had a buyer asking for the Scruggs.
I chose the Cochran. He asked what I would sell it for I basicly setting his price. I said Mike that Cue might never be sold.

...I said Mike that Cue might never be sold...

We ALL have one or two cues that we always say "I'll never sell!", but then we turn around and sell them anyway...this is one of the cues that REALLY SHOULD stay in the stable! ;) (But if you do sell it, I want to know! :p )
