Snooker World Championship to clash with match-fixing hearing after delays​

A delay to court proceedings will mean the 2023 Snooker World Championship will be played with the fate of 10 Chinese players hanging in the balance after they were charged with match-fixing :

They could have timed the hearing a bit sooner because the hearing will take the gloss off the Worlds or maybe it's a good thing as all those players are out of this years worlds .

Once upon a time the BBC had all the Crown Jewels of sports , Football , Boxing , F1 , Golf , Tennis , Horse Racing etc.....

Emperor Hearn must be sitting back thinking why am I giving the BBC my contract for World Scooker when the only crown jewel BBC have left is football and if they want to broadcast my Snooker the BBC interupt the coverage and tell the viewer to press the RED BUTTON .

Let's hope Emperor Hearn has had enough of the once honourable caretaker of sports that was the BBC :

It seems that the WPBSA needs to be funded. I wonder how Neil would prefer for that to happen. Maybe Jack has the right idea -- get rid of the bottom half of players in each event and the WPBSA can keep the prizes they would have won.

exactly. also, these two are fairly even odds. so you have to lump in a decent sum for it to be substantial, or place weird frame bets, both of which are easily notable anomalies for the bookie. or its software rather. the idiots are basically trying to fool a computer.
