Whatever. You're right I am wrong. So no bets. I was completely in the wrong to make that claim without outlining the stipulation that the shots have to be proven that they can be made otherwise in three tries. Lesson learned.
You got me. If you grow some heart and want to try it with the stipulation that YOU and this time I mean YOU personally have to shoot the shots first then we have action.
So having learned my lesson I am going to outline just exactly how I will bet on this proposition.
1. The shots have to be direct shots with a clear path to the object ball and a clear path to a pocket. No bank shots, no masse shots, no jump shots.
2. You personally have to make the shot first in three tries or less to prove it can be made.
3. Since my time is so valuable you have to post $20 for every shot you want to try. If you make it in three tries then the $20 stays with you. If you miss the shot then I get the $20 for the time I spent watching you try it.
4. IF you are able to make the shot then I will attempt it using the CTE aiming system or whatever similar system that I know (as I may not really know the proper CTE system) and if I fail to make it then I will pay you $100. If I make it in three tries you pay me $100.
5. We are betting on a per shot basis so either of us can quit after the completion of paying off for the previous shot.
Should I have my lawyer send the contract over? I don't think I forgot anything. You have until next March to consider it as that is when I will be at the Super Billiards Expo where I hope to see you there as well.
So, opponent pays off on misses and you don't? Nice. Can I use this? Is it patented? So, I get paid on misses, then he has to make it or coughs up a buck? Then, I get a free wheel at it either way. Don't tell anybody, but I like the way you thought this one out.
Put the heat on him to make his prop shot, he pays off for misses, and then I get a free whack at doubling my cheese. Dude, sounds like something I'd come up with in a bar. Kudos.
