I'm pretty much done after this so feel free to bash all you want.

I really like this forum, the knowledge displayed here is very valuable in any pool players eyes and I express my thanks to all the people who have helped me in my journey.

Anyway, there are two reasons that back up my original statement. First off, you can't go one day without seeing some kind of skanky avatar, or picture of a girl with hardly any clothes on in these threads, to me that is very offensive.
Second, the recent thread where 2 people are talking about a very talented young pool player being "sumo like" and ugly. To me that is also very offensive.

If I get banned for this then, o well, because I am not coming back. SO smack talk me all want!

Thanks again for everyone that has helped me, there are so many people on here that I highly respect, I would list the names but I don't want to miss anyone.

I turned off Avatars first thing since I browse mostly from work. There are some nifty settings you can change here. As for post content, I actually find this to be a rather tempered group of folks, short of the occasional dead hooker comment.

Sorry you were offended, it's hard to put any group of folks together from all over the world, many just passing time in an otherwise dull work day, and not manage to offend each in a different way. I find the benefits of such a diverse group of individuals to be the main benefit of this site, and I just overlook all the Jesus talk.. I mean, all the sumo kid jokes.

There are 7000+ registered users as of today. Neither you, nor I will be missed, though we will both enjoy our time here.

2 - Add those posters to your ignore list

I would prefer if everyone here was forced to have avatars with almost naked or naked girls on it if they werent obese (had to put that clause in there).

I would prefer if my local pool hall had mostly almost naked hot girls in it too.... Unfortunately some things cannot be controlled and we just have to cope as best we can and enjoy the positives and ignore the negatives :cool:

I browse at work too and I've turned off my avatars.

Obviously, you're not saying everyone here lacks class, but should there be some sort of moderation in your opinion?

If a girl in a bikini walked into your pool hall would you demand she leave or put on more clothes? If a fellow player called someone else fat/ugly would you prefer they be scolded and asked to leave?

You can leave if you want, but if this kind of stuff upsets you, expect a whole lot of disappointments elsewhere down the road.

From what I see, you give as much as you get. The last post I read from you was in the thread about Earl's Instruction and you told everybody that they were as dumb as a box of rocks. When you post things like that, you need to expect a tomato or two, perhaps a half dozen eggs will be tossed back in your direction. Sometimes it gets a bit messy.

If you don't like avatars, turn them off.

If someone annoys you, don't read their posts.

Above all else, don't start a bunch of $hit and expect that there won't be consequences for it. That's the laws of the jungle. That's just life in the forums of AZ. Get used to it or get out.
 
Dude you wont get banned for that. However you will get banned for calling someone a **** ******.

I agree, some people can be offensive, but in any walk of life you're going to get people who push the boundaries and take things too far.

But you shouldn't leave 8-ball cus you're gonna miss all my unskanky yet funny pics! Like so:

By the way Cuetable your forum is very nice. It's soothing to the eyes. I wish you could have a user name of 3 letters though. The minimum is 4.
