This guy really makes me sick

Shots like that are why Efren is my favorite pro player to watch play. He's an amazing player. We are all blessed to be playing pool at the same time he's making history as the greatest player ever!

Practice those 3 railers guys.... they come in handy. ;) I beat a guy last weekend w/ one at bank 8 for 100.00. Table run from break on bar box, 3 railer to finish him off. Left him standing there w/ 7 on the table and his jaw on the floor.

I made a three rail bank to end a game of one pocket the other day but that kick was much more impressive!

There weren't too many choices for an easy kick shot the way that table was laid out. Efren took the best option if you ask me, all the easy kicks were blocked

Kim Davenport used the points on the pockets a lot. He was very good at it. Johnnyt

Sick brag about winning $100. You win at life.

I've not read all of the post, so please forgive me if I'm re-stateing.

That is a fairly common shot when one is playing 8 ball with fouls being played from behind the kitchen string. One is on the 8 ball, perhaps just missing it & leaving it near one the head end corner pockets & the opponent scratches on purpose or by accident giving you ball it hand from out of the kitchen. After positioning the cue ball in a mirror position on the other side of the table or on a line from that point to the spot of intended hit on the first long rail. That point is generally some where between the 21/2 to 3 diamonds from the opposite diagonal pocket or stated differently 5 to 51/2 diamonds from the pocket for the object ball. The 1/2 diamond range is depending on english & the fact that every table is a bit different due to the rails. It is not really that difficult of a shot & I & many others have made it quite often, Now... making it in a major tournament when the pressue is on is another story. But... I'm not sure one can accurately use the words pressure & Efren together in any sentence.

Best to All,

Ummm.... Yeah, it's called the diamond system. :p

The diamond system had nothing to do with making that ball, it was what ever Efren put on that cueball, too many balls in the way of the natural 3-4 rail path! That shot was something very very freaky, some how Efren made that cueball bend, swerve, curve and what ever else it did!

I was merely relaying the basic 3 rail path that goes 3 rails from 'pocket to pocket'. Naturally one can hit shorter or longer, that is at different angles and use english to get the ball to the same point.

I was once on a break & run out and hooked myself for the ball before the 8. The cue was near a corner pocket & the 3 ball was in the exact center of the table. I had a small opening to hit the rail that was close to 3 rails to the 3 ball in the center. I hit it with extreme running english & cut the 3 ball into the side pocket which I called. I've tried to duplicate it a few times to demonstrate it but have only hit the ball & come close to the side pocket.

Once you know the 3 rail path you can use english to get the outcome from different starting points

Best Wishes to All,
