This Keeps Happening

Do everyone trying to help you a favor. Pattern rack the balls. 123456789, ten optional. Now break six times with the cue ball in the same place and trying to break the same speed, taking a picture from the same place after every break.

If you can't make a consistent break all the rest of this is pissing in the wind. If you can make a consistent break you should be able to solve your own issue.

if using special racks other than the old wood rack then it should be break from the center line,

the break should as it always was a random rearrangement of the balls and hopefully lucking one in by a forceful break.
not some trick break that makes the same ball almost every time.
Why don't we eliminate aiming too 🤦‍♂️

We have a Bingo!!!😉

'Aiming'?? What's that??
Can the knowledgeable go into more detail for those of us who don't know 'aiming'?? 😁
Bring facetious. Please don't.

A short course in Southern Language:

"Aiming to" means the same thing as been thinking about doing something for awhile. The issue getting critical leads to "fixing to" get it done or if breaking out Sunday's language, "Repairing to get it done."

Not understanding "Southern" can lead to confusion and hard feelings. My ex was from east texas, should have been enough of a warning! We didn't always communicate well me being native born in South Louisiana and her being furrin born in texas! She told me to fix an old couch one time too many and I fixed it with five gallons of diesel and a match! I did at least haul it far enough to not smoke up the house but near enough she could see the big black smoke cloud from our back yard. "I fixed the couch!" From then on she quickly corrected herself when she asked me to fix something she didn't want burned!

This thread was started because I noticed there seemed to be 3-4 balls sort of clustered together quite a bit. As in the original post. The intent of this thread was to ask others that use a template if that is something that is normal for them as well.

But again, others have twisted it around and gotten away from the original post.

Lately the break has been working better. I've been running out a few times as well. On Friday afternoon I got out five times including three breaks in a row at one point. This new Diamond Professional is giving me more chances than my Gold Crown IV.

this dude is clueless. obviously he breaks like SHIT and yet he keeps coming back for more abuse, errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, help here.

And this is what I am talking about. No comment was made about a template and possibly causing balls to cluster that was the intent of the original post.

Just another insult. Which is pretty much what AZB is all about anymore.

DCP, respectfully, your break sucks. You need to spend time working on the break and only the break. As suggested earlier, pattern rack the balls and then map where they go. Keep going until you can get somewhat repeatable results, then tweak your break from there. CB position, speed, spin, everything. If you aren't making the 1, then play for a break where the 1 goes 2 rails toward the corner and the CB is in the middle of the table.

Don't try to run out. Just break. Over and over and over.

The Fedor rack is awesome. Someone just had one at the pool room the other night. It’s made by magic ball rack and is a bit thicker than their current rack, more like their rack from 15 years ago. It racks awesome. That and the taom ones are the best available today. IMO.

Did you ever try filming the break? Meaning the balls from above or the best way you can. Then slow it down and study it. It might to see if there is actually a pattern. Try different break speeds and so on.
When the balls are broken very few go right in. It is always from colliding with other balls. In fact many appear to never hit more then one rail.

I notice in one of the tournaments the players were breaking in such a way that the cue ball would fly through the rack off the side rail after the break scrambling the balls a second time.
It seemed like more balls went in.
Interesting.
