McDaniel, McDaniel, Gina, Gina.

One trade deal and one purchase and I should be set for a while. I just received the Rasputin yesterday, so I haven't tried it out yet. If it hits as well as my other Gina, it will have been worth every penny. Personally, I think the ebony, ivory and silver of each help them go nicely together.

I hope you enjoy looking.

Wow. That collection is worthy of any Blue Book or Billiard Encyclopedia. Great job collecting those cues!

Beautiful work on those four. Are you focusing on the ivory/silver theme? Did you ever see or hear of the Tuxedo Collection?

All that money for those cues.... and you can only afford a black and white camera........ jeeze..... :D
Just kidding, beautiful cues Ryan!

cue compliments

Thank you very much for all of your kind words. I am very fortunate to own the cues I do. Given the unlimited demands on everyone's finances these days, when you have to work for a living, money can get very expensive. I am only thirty-five, but would gladly retire tomorrow, if I could afford it, to have enough time to practice and play more seriously.

I have read a bit about the Tuxedo collection. I think the gentleman's name is Tony Martino? I saw photos of it some time ago and was very impressed by the number and quality of his cues, let alone the strictly black and white theme. I would suspect it will be some time before I am able to lay out for another cue to go with these, but it will be worth the wait.

Thanks again and best wishes to all.

Your imposing cue budget has shriveled me up faster than an ice-cold swimming pool. Drool, drool, drool!

I was trying to pick a favorite, but could not. If I was the owner of the Rasputin, I think I would have to move to my local pool hall because I would want to play during every waking moment....

At least it won't matter if you accidentally switch the joint protectors on your Ginas....

I think I just made tinkle in my big boy pants........

GORGEOUS set of cues you have there, sir. Each one is a true work of art, and each one compliments the rest....

Beautiful. Simply beautiful.

Ryan,

If anyone can top your collection with 4 cues i'd like to see it. I love ebony and ivory together and it's obvious that you do to. Your cues are just beautiful and the fact that you play with them is even better. Congratulations on a very fine cue collection.

Real sweet group of cues to view Ryan and excellent photos too. I especially like the design of the 3rd cue, the Gina. I think I saw it or one similar at the ICCS show in October. Looks like you're collecting within an ebony/ivory theme now? Please keep showing us your cues as you acquire them.

Ryan, that's a real classy line-up. It's nice to see a focus in a collection. Trying to do that now with my own. Happy New Year !!

I think Casey would be jealous. Very nice cues you have there. I guess you can call your collection Tuxedo II??

Nice collection Ryan-

You gave up some incredible cues (Bender & Prewitt to acquire some equally incredible cues (GC). Im currently re-evaluating my collection as well. Wanna focus on a theme as well. With this new collection, which of these would you consider your daily player? it must he a tough choice.

Thank you, again, for all of your comments. It is nice to know other players/collectors get some pleasure from having a look. I am always booting through the Cue Gallery to see what is up. There is really something to be said for wanting specific cues for a long time and finally being able to get them in your hands. I almost feel like I could "retire" from buying cues, with what I have now but, somehow, I am sure something will catch my eye and I will get that feeling again.

I asked Casey about trading for one of his Ginas and he said he was thinking about getting out of collecting. His maple Gina is really fantastic-looking. As for a name for my cues, I think you must have to have a significantly higher number than mine before you could name it anything. "My Cues" will have to do for now.
