I don't know. It's inevitable that things are more interesting when you first get here. Then you see the same subjects rehashed. It is what it is. There will usually be something of interest to me, just not as much as in the past.

I'll be the first to admit a lot of my posts are on the negative side, but
i'm never looking for a fight. If someone in pool does something wrong IMO, I'm going to say something about it on here. I don't care if it's a great player, promotor, industry sales people, weather they are sponsors or not. I've been involved in this game for 65 years and I don't owe anyone anything. I don't need to kiss anyones ass for a job or favor.
As far as a pro pool org.,I don't believe any of the dozen or so top players in the U.S does. I believe they don't want an organization. They want to be in control, and most promotors don't want an org if they can't control it. If I seem bitter at times,I am, because pool could have been right up there with the way snooker is in the UK, if casino's weren't affraid to offer it, because there is no org, just some players that think me first, then everyone else can get thier's. I haven't looked yet, but I'll be betting on one of the fresh horses that didn't run in the Preakness or hasn't run in any of the first two legs. Trainers have got smart and send a fresh horse that is bred for distance (mile and a half). Johnnyt
Yeah, it's always good to look for value. Pletcher seems to target this race kind of like Woody Stevens did(5 in a row). So his horses are usually live.
Definitely lots of PMS going on around here (Pissy Man Syndrome, new subforum idea maybe?).
Seems like some people have nothing better to do than take over threads so they can argue all day over the same old crap. It's one thing to disagree with someone's opinion but that's no reason to start attacking them personally.
What we need is less arguing and more matching up! Meet up, agree on a line, and let the grudge match begin! (And make sure to stream it too!)

I guess I'm in the minority? I don't really care if people post their products, if I've seen the thread before and it doesn't interest me, I just keep scrolling. But being a new guy, most of it is still new to me.
Take the chalk debate, for example. Right now I'm using the predator stuff, because a local store sells it. But from tooling around on here, I see quite a few people selling different chalk, so the 12yr old in me that wants the coolest stuff gets me to check out the threads and such. If I think I'll like it, I'll pm somebody, if not, I'll find something else to read.
I guess I just don't see the need to bash somebody for trying to make a buck, because I can always check something else out instead. I wanna play pool, I want to have a good time. I want to check out awesome sticks I can't afford and hear about the latest and greatest products, whether they're actually good or not, and see who's kicking ass and taking names.
Don't get me wrong, every now and again it's kind of funny to see two grown men (or women) have a verbal throwdown online, but as a new member? Kind of makes me not want to deal with them in the future, in case the crazy is a full time gig for them.

Really, as compared to what? If you hit refresh almost any minute there will be new postings. You made this post this morning and have like 20 replies. I asked a question on another forum two days ago and have yet to get an answer. You will get an answer to a question here in minutes. This is one busy forum, it goes non stop 24/7. I don't really understand your post.
Another point, make a post that in any way is controversial, and sit back and watch. You will have pages of responses in no time. What this tell you is there are people reading constantly. They just don't always find the need to respond to every posting but they are there.
I have been looking at this forum for like 12 years and don't see anything really different. ?????
