Thoughts on this instructional video about hustling.....

Just started watching this. Pretty funny. That's Jimmy Mataya, Eva Mataya's first husband. He met her in Vegas I believe when she was a playboy bunny. He was a solid player back in the day....a pro. He taught her. Funny funny video so far....Pretty Boy Floyd....hahahahaha.

It's a classic. I think they use this video in acting classes to show what not to do...

Years ago, I had a buddy of mine back in high school that had this VHS. We couldn't wait to watch it. When we did we just kinda looked at each other like wtf did we just watch?

Classic video!

And to Dom.......there is a modicum of truth to what he says about guarding against being hustled. Easiest way to avoid it is don't play strangers or give him a try and if you smell a rat....get out cheap.

Many many years ago I met an Amazonianly tall woman at the US Open at the Hotel. Gorgeous, tall.....she worked there in the dining room. We dated a few times then I heard she went out to Vegas with Mataya and got married. Still trying to figure out who hustled who on that proposition.......by the way, no idea if that marriage part was just rumor or not. Had to qualify that.

Pretty entertaining, but when the credits rolled, I half-expected to see "Alan Smithee".

Just FYI...Ewa and Jimmy were married in NJ at a pro tournament. Mighty Mouse and his wife were married in the same ceremony, at the same time.

Wow, well produced. Can he possibly repeat the same phrases a few more times? What a douche.

You would think that anyone with an active brain cell would be embarrassed by this still being out there.
I doubt he is. I suspect it was just something to sell to suckers stupid enough to believe him. He would probably answer that way if he was asked.

The funny thing about the tape is, if you actually did what he says it is a lock you may get your head broke. One minute you can't make a bridge, the next you look like a pro. Gee, think someone may notice.
