I love Tiger products, and their Sniper tips are the bomb, but am I the only one who feels these very nice looking cues may be a bit, um, overpriced, a la Predator?

Just my opinion, if I may.

Hard to say if they are overpriced - pictures do not reveal nearly enough.

plus, if they were 'inexpensive' it might suggest poor quality since its unknown where/how they are made. Kind of like the Samsara Baroque line of cues.. not enough people buying them to get an opinion yet.

You make a good valid point.

Years ago a friend of mine had a Ziebart rustproofing shop. The cost was $29.95. Business was not very good. Ziebart raised the price to $59.95 and business boomed. The reason was at $29.95 people thought it could not be very good. When they raised the price it increased the people's percepted value. Same product, same application, just more business and profit.
 
My understanding is the cues are completely USA made from quality components. I'm looking forward to checking the cues out in person this week.

As with all Tiger Products, our cues are also made 100% in the USA!

My two cents...

I stopped by the Tiger shop yesterday in sunny, beautiful Burbank, CA and inspected the new Tiger "professional" cue models. I was pleasantly surprised at the overall quality of the cues and the attention to detail. The Stack wraps are masterfully installed and coordinate beautifully in color with the cue woods. The fit and finish on the cues are top rate. Comfortable balance point. I was told extra shafts will be available for the cues, including the option to match the trim ring set on the 4-point cocobolo cue. Way to go Tiger...you guys did it right!

Look for westerncue.com to have a (selected) group of the new Tiger professional cues as soon as they are available (which should be real soon). PM me if you have any interest. Various weights will be available. I won't let you pay MSRP!
