I just talked to Tim
As we all know yesterday was thanksgiving ,Tim was out with familyWhen he arrived athome ,not knowing what I was up to he saw that he had dozens of calls, imagine yourself what the heck
When he saw what was going on he looked here on AZ and was overwhelmed with emotion as he saw the tributes and praises not to mention the number of orders for cues.

All of this struck him emotionally deep, next he read those remaks that pointed out the tremendous responsibility of going again, the setting up the shop, training apprentances in the old school way.Its not easy or quick to make cues with mitred points etc

I could go on and on ,but Tim is going to need more time to consider this,

He is so grateful for your kind responses that I fail to find the correct words
to express his gratitude to all of you.

Please continue to pile on the orders if you really want a cue,but realize
this is a big big decision for Tim

I thank you for Tim and for Dean

If I'm counting correctly, this thread already creates a waiting list for about 47 cues. And who knows how many other people have expressed an interest by PM or e-mail. So, clearly, Tim would have a willing market if he chose to resume making cues. He is certainly one of the nicest people I have encountered in the business, and I wish him well regardless of which direction he goes.

I finely got mine...and they'll have to pull it from my cold dead hands. It's a work of art and I'm still stunned it's mine every time I pull it from my case!

If he loves building cues and wants to continue..good for him ...life is short and do what you love. If your happy in retirement and taking time to smell the roses I wish you the best and thanks for all the incredible cues.

That is a treasure. I'm glad for you. Mike was going to build me a 6-pointer similar to yours.

I stopped by this morning to pick up my cue from Bob Frey and decided to stop by Tim's Shop. This is what I saw...I hope he does come back.

scruggs cues

I bought my 1st about 6 months ago... it is a great hitting cue.... I would be interested in 1 if he comes back to cue making.PLEASE PUT ME ON THE LIST..... it would be exceptional to have 1 made personally instead of second hand.....If his health and Desire are there.....I believe he would have plenty of business..IMHO..

I have a beautiful Scruggs 6 pointer, cocobolo into birds eye.
I bought it back in 1993. My first really nice cue was a scruggs, it was a red stained maple forearm with ebony points and abalone diamonds. I traded it a long, long time ago, and I've been kicking myself ever since.

If Tim really does decide to take some more orders and start back up his cuemaking business please just tell me what number to call and where to send a check.

I would love to have a Scruggs hoppe too!!! Had one, sold it. Wish I never did... So if he decides yes, put me in the list...

I'd love to have another TS cue also. I've owned a number of Tim's cues and for one reason or another I let them slip through my fingers and i've regretted selling them many times......

Cue

I have two 1 of a kind t.s. Masterpieces and both play lights out. Tim is truely one of the greats in the art of cuemaking

why wouldnt this be the correct section? could easily end up being the sign up sheet that scruggs ends up working off of.

To make it clear these orders and request to buy Tim's cues will
be his list of orders

If you decide to own one of these Masterpieces please be quickand be sure
No one will be expected to put up a deposit until Tim makes his final decision which is
enhanced with every order

While I am not receiving anything in the sales of the Scruggs cues,I would like to remind you that I am still selling a very ugly envelope leather case for $100
