well...payment cleared

Hey Ken! Payment cleared as you thought it would. That was the fastest a paypal payment has cleared, we must have the same bank or similar policies. I got it shipped out so you'll have it wed. or thursday she says. I got $300 ins. and it went priority as I always do...I got delivery confirmation cause their tracking sucks anyways, all you ever see is if they deliver it, so... I'll pm you tracking info

ok Ken, I've kept in touch on this and have done all I can about THEM mis-shipping the TS s/p, but since you went and filed a claim with paypal today, I'm done! go ahead, take your money back...but who's to even say I'll get my cue back after you get back your money? this is usps's fault, not mine like you believe it is. you asked me how I got a tracking number if it went parcel post so I'll tell you AGAIN. its the one from the delivery confirmation that I gave you. you want to make a big deal out of something thats not my fault...go ahead, but just know that I WILL know when the cue gets to you and I WILL want it back since you'll have your money back. this situation has completely gotten out of hand, but of course you know this cause you did it! I have even gone to the post office multiple times for you to find out whats going on with this, but it seems you don't care. take your money back, I no longer care about it...I DO however want my cue back. I'll call your post office monday morning and have them hold it and send it back to me since you wish to be difficult about this. I'm done dealing with you on this or any other item, so I hope you're happy now.

Take it easy. If Ken gets the cue, I'm sure he'll send it back or pay you. I don't think you have anything to worry about there.

Unfortunately the tracking of USPS Priority Mail is non existent. You can get a confirmation number but I am a loss as to what value it has except to act as proof of mailing or perhaps to track in a claim. The insurance too might help, but the payment goes to you - not him - so your covering yourself. Or you can send it registered but then you are into Express mail rates anyway. The only tracking as far as I know with USPS is Express mail - in which case the rates are pretty close to Fed Ex.

So I use Fed Ex 2 day. if someone squawks about the $25 shipping, I'll knock off $10 and pay it myself because I don't want this situation you have here.

But don't worry, Ken is honest. Sending cues priority mail is a gamble that usually works out, but when it doesn't it's very frustrating for both parties.

and nothing should ever be sent out without paying the insurance and that is for fedex, ups, usps, or any other service. and whenever i use usps i always get delivery confirmation, free on express and only $.50 on priority. and like badabing says, don't ship anything out on fridays, monday thru thursday only.

Jeff, just to get the facts straight; I don't think you did this on purpose. Secondly, I filed a claim with PayPal to cover myself and I sent you a PM to let you know I was doing so.

Yes, we have been in communication since the deal was struck....thanks for the communication!

However, since you've chosen this forum.....let's reveiw the transaction:

We agreed on a price for the TS SP with the DZ shaft and the Original damaged shaft. I sent you an immediate payment via PayPal (1/26). You initially felt the need to hold up shipping the cue until the $$$ transfered from your PayPal account and cleared your checking account as posted here (1/28). After a PM expressing my concerns for the delay - you informed me that the cue was shipped via USPS Priority (1/29) and that I should receive the cue by Wed. (1/30) or Thu (1/31). Then on Thu (1/31) you sent me a PM telling me you forgot to include the Original shaft with the cue but, no worries, you would ship the Original shaft to me over the weekend (2/2 or 2/3). Still no cue and no signs of the Original shaft by Wed (2/7) then you inform me that your waiting to ship the Original shaft to make sure I receive the cue first, WTF!? Then yesterday (2/10) you inform me that a mistake had been made and the cue was actually shipped via Parcel Post :confused: and that the Post Office felt the cue should have arrived by this date even if shipped Parcel Post :mad:


So, now you're on here telling all the AZ'ers that you won't do business with me anymore, yadayadaya :mad: :mad: ....did you forget to take your MEDs this week??? :D

My rep speaks for itself either on AZ, Ebay or wherever Pal. Don't worry about your cue or your money. I'm covering myself with the PayPal claim. The insurance, if your mysterious postal friend bought it, will be paid to you directly if the cue is in fact lost. But, I'm not in the mood to wait until you get your money from the Post Office to get my refund....does that possibly make any sense to you :mad:

Do you even have a copy of the receipt from the Post Office:confused:

krbsailing IMO is a trustworthy guy ! I think his rep on here is very good and i would feel safe sending him any cue i have !

As stated in my previous post in the main forum on that other thread more than half the time its the CUSTOMER who has created the problem in the first place,there's a big difference between parcel post and priority mail and thats IF it was ever mailed by your friend.How could you ever even tell Ken it was sent prioriy mail in the first place when you had no idea, WTF is that.
 
Charlie, it took me a while to grasp this concept, but let me break it down....it's pretty simple,as further evidenced with the thread about Shurtz cues. With customers like that, who needs enemies ???? :(

Bob Owen is a very nice guy and his cues are very impressive,hope he comes up to valley forge next month. Him and Gabe are a class act and a great asset for the pool world. I think sometimes people just need to own up to mess they created and stop the lying.
 
Cue Arrived Today!

FYI, the TS cue arrived today. I have canceled the PayPal claim.

This cue is a very nice Plain Jane TS SP....and, the DZ shaft hits very solid :cool:

well, well...looks like I wasn't lying after all, huh Ken? I am sorry it went out to you the wrong way, I really am, but it DID go out like I said. I'm glad you're happy with the cue cause a TS belongs in your hands, not mine. again, I'm SORRY it took so long to get there...now let this thread die
 
as a casual observer and sometimes poster, i cant get over how much trouble follows one person. Ken, you bought a cocobolo scruggs sneaky from me off ebay. do you still have that? happy this situation worked out for you.
 
I don't have a cocobola TS SP at the moment :D

What's your handle on EBAY? Maybe a Bacote?

I do have room in my case for one more TS SP ;)
