This cue's condition is used. This cue has a few dings but the finish still shines.
Everything is straight together and seperately.
18.6 ounces
12.43 stiff shaft with a pretty ivory ferrel unknown hard layered tip
Flat faced steel joint.
Sunset veneers.
This cue has incredable balance as all Timi's cues do. This is one sweet playing cue.
First $1200 shipped!!!!!!!!!!
This cue is very used. It is not very abused. It shines and is a very pretty cue to look at. There are a couple dings and dents but over all this is a pretty cue. This is not a mint condition cue. It is still a very nice cue and still very pretty.
Thank you,

Nick, the bumper looks out a little and has a slight line on it as if the tapered weight bolt was replaced with a hex head weight bolt?
Also i think weight is more easily added in a cue than taken out. probably would not be a problem to add.IMO

The bolt is right.

The bumper might not be the one I took out. I tossed it in a cookie tin with a couple other bumpers with screws already in them. I think the best way to reweight the cue would be with a heavier shaft.
The hole for the bolt is not much longer than the bolt. The hole's threads would need to be deeper. Easy stuff.

Nick, I guess at 12.43m.m. it needs a shaft anyway. But with a stainless joint and a big pin it's probably foreward balanced already. It would be simple for a cuemaker to drill and tap deeper for a longer weight bolt which would also help the balance of the cue. Good luck with your sale amigo!!

So this cue may be improperly balanced as is?

Not at all...if Tim built it with the weight that it currently has in it, you can bet that the balance is just fine. What Bob is saying is that a TS steel joint cue is usually forward balanced, so to have someone drill and tap the butt so a longer weightbolt would be an option to make the cue heavier would not adversely affect the balance much at all.

Actually, adding weight via a slightly longer weightbolt does not move the balance much, anyways, unless a LOT of weight is added.

I personally like a forward balanced cue.

Heck no.

I love it. Usually I like 21 ounce with 13.25 at the tip. This cue is a total riot to play with. I am going way bigger and really never thought about it but the seller of the Big Scruggs might like this cue in partial trade. He would love it. I don't like complicating things. I like. I buy.
Also when a cue is really balanced well a .5 ounces in the back usually won't move the balance point half a inch.

Thank you,
Nick :)
