I haven't been around in awhile, but I remember that you had a sponsorship packet you were working on. How is that going for you? And what and how have you been doing lately?

I remember Tina. She told me she would go with me to my prom and then forgot:(

Tina doesn't post that much anymore, but she must still lurk some. I think the last post I saw from her was on Eydie's Birthhday thread.

Since she posted yesterday and we exchanged PMs, I didn't know she had left.
I didn't check. I just don't see her post as much as she used to.

As far as he being the best female player on the forum, I thing that Sarah Rousey and Kelly Fisher are ranked a little higher, and they both post regularly.

Tina is one of the best female players on this forum. There are quite a few new ladies on the WPBA website, and I expect her to make it eventually if not soon. I would like to know how she's been doing since I left since the last thing I remember was she was working on a sponsorship packet.

I haven't been around so I'm curious about her and a few other players, like Jasmin Ouschan.

She is right about this Mike.

Tina's the only female player I know who has a Filipino stroke. :)
She used to scare men at HT, Bellflower.
Very good player.

She is probably the best female player on this forum that is not on the WPBA.

I agree. I have never met Tina, but have talked to her some on this forum. I do know her game, and I do know how well she plays.

I didn't mean to piss anyone off, and don't know what I said to get everyone fired up. If it's because I didn't check her posts before I said she didn't get on here much anymore, oh well. Maybe she posts much more than she did last year, but I don't see near the activity from her as I did then.

Sorry. I didn't catch that assumption.
No, my original post says she is one of the best female players on the forum, and I was adding that she is probably the best here that is not on the WPBA.

I don't think anyone's pissed:D

No, I'm still saying she is one of the best female players on the forum, and probably the best that is not on the WPBA.
Sorry Marissa. I never said she wasn't. And whatever I said that might have been taken as a jab against Tina's game was misinterpreted. I just posted that I don't see her on here as much as I used to.

Marissa,
I believe she has posted here that she has quit pool (or at least quit the push to become a regular pro). She seemed to have made a realistic assessment of the "huge commitment/poor reward" situation. She did not seem bitter about it, just a bit sad.

In Chesapeake a few years back (I have no sense of time so no idea what year), some comments were made in the local pool hall:

"Who is this girl stroking like a Filipino and running out?!"

Maybe I'm reading into things a little too much this morning then.

Way to go Mike T. Now Tina has quit pool.....nice going! :D :D
