Tina Pawlowski

That's disappointing to hear, Don. She has the talent and beauty to pick up the sponsors and go far.

SM,
I'm in agreement. I had the good fortune to meet her (and her cue caddy 1PRoscoe) at DCC a couple of years ago; and was able to play a little 9 ball with her. She definitely impressed me with her very professional demeanor, very good looks, and very nice game. I viewed her as a potential top 16 WPBA player, who would have become a tremendous asset to the WPBA had she been able to continue in the game.

Just another in the sad, long line of pool players leaving the sport from lack of opportunity.

Im not sure about sponsorship but I'm looking for a personal assistant. :D

I agree, it's crazy. Especially when you consider EVERYBODY has played pool at one time or another, and there are tables in most bars. I can't figure it out either. It is what it is though. We must face the fact that we are addicted to a sport that has been in decline for decades. That's alright we can still have fun, and maybe win a dollar or two(not last night).:D

So you are going to tell me that after the thread yesterday voicing my disproval of just you in general you are going to go and start a "nice" thread about me?

So let's see, you start a "nice" thread about me so that it will anger anyone if I were to still post things about you? Like.... "How could she be so mean to her after Marissa posted such nice things?"

That's a bit manipulative I would say. Going from the thread yesterday, to posting, "she's so pretty, she plays well", ha!!

I thank you for all the kind sincere words from the other posters. Mawissa, please don't start a thread about me like this again.

I know what you are doing.

Please take note to some of you that are newer than even a couple of years here - you haven't seen the whole story.

Now go ahead, Mawissa. Go ahead and say no, you really care, you were/are really nice. I expect it. No doubt you pm'd half the board yesterday.

It's off to Anatomy dissection class, I'll catch up with this later.

negative - I watched her cue for a few hours while she did whatever, does not make me a "caddy".... I'd call that a friend...

SM,

You can't out move her and you sure as hell can't out shoot her. You got a BAD game. Pressing the bet will only get you broke.

Some team in your area prolly needs a solid SL-4.....

What just happened here? Did I miss something?

If Tina sticks to amateur pool tournaments like the BCA, she can be a dominant player like Tammy Wesley was for years. And make more money too!

They just paid $600 to the highest finishing woman at the U.S. Bar Table. Tina could have won that if she had been up there. And played some poker too. The 3-6 game (with a kill) at the Sands was sweet action.

Tina, you just have to come to some of these West Coast events. I guarantee you will make money, and the guys will ALL be happy to see you too.

I've never really seen Marissa play, so I can't evaluate her game. One of these days I hope to see her in action somewhere. Maybe she'll come out to the BCA.

I think you're both lovely women, and I'm glad you enjoy pool.

I haven't been around in awhile, but I remember that you had a sponsorship packet you were working on. How is that going for you? And what and how have you been doing lately?

Since she posted yesterday and we exchanged PMs, I didn't know she had left.

After reading Tina's response it makes me think you have an alterior motive based on your first two posts. If you exchanged PM's why didn't you just ask her then?

Jay,
Maybe I could fly out there and you could take me to some easy 5/10 or 10/20 NL action and then introduce me to Tina. :D

For the record:

I saw her sponsorship packet awhile back and took it upon myself to edit one of the photos (just the levels and background) to make it look more professional. I wouldn't do that if I had ill feelings toward her. And it looks pretty good, if I say so myself. I get out of here at 5, home by 5:30. I'll post it then.

FWIW, that packet was made over 2 years ago - I remember Tina showing me those pictures in early 2006. IMO, the photos were outstanding and done professionally, as was her entire promotional packet.

So much has happened since then on and off the forums, at and away from the table. I hope Tina's heart finds its way back to the pro tour - she is one of the bright spots in the world of pool.

David, my memory is horrible but I could have sworn I saw it more recently than that. Her pictures were very nice. The properties show I saved it in January 2007. This is the one I was playing with:

(EDIT: This is not me. This is Tina Pawlowski. Also, I didn't take this photo, though I wish I could take credit! I just messed with the levels, burned some areas, did some sharpening, and darkened the background and foreground so the focus would be more on the subject than her surroundings.)
