Titleist equals Chess match

I was presented with an old Titleist converted long ago. Big butt monster 1.4 plus at the back end but only .800 ay 30 inches. Dirty nasty points were way off.
Good challenge!
Keeping in mind that when all cues are formed, everything is even based on cuts.
Being that fat at the bottom helps because all of the off setting must come from the back, so the joint didn't get smaller. Good job for patience, off set centers and dial indicators. Try to get the points even and go from there.
Next, customer plays with a McDermott and wants a wrap on the Titleist also wants a big butt around 1.3.
First goal was to keep it true full splice. Adding a wrap and his existing playing cue added options so I cut the Titleist where it would get me .845 at the joint and added a handle.

Nice!

Worth the patience to get those points right.

Definitely going to be a looker and a player.

Thanks for showing this off!:thumbup::thumbup:

Beautiful cue

Titleist is most often associated with a company selling golf clubs.
The hoppe cue is named titlist, being defined as someone that has won titles.

Good info.
Correction for myself.
Titlist not Titleist.
Dropping the e has always confused me though. For some reason I see two words without the e.
I have issues sometimes.

Yup.

And yet when you search eBay for Titlist, you still get golf clubs. LOL!

Really great work! Given your original description - amazing. Simple looking things are worth deeper appreciation...
