Is this a joss west or a cue made by Dan Janes? Maybe you've misrepresented this cue.

Dan Janes

the cue was made by Dan Janes of Joss cue.

if you read through the post, I'm sure this cue is repressented accurately. although I did spell titliest wrong.

nerer Joss west

I have never said this cue was a joss west.
Dan Janes even posted on this thread saying the cue was 100 percent made by him.

I did notice one poster titled his post Joss West. But I've never said anything of the sort.

I'll say it again. This cue is a titliest styled Joss Cue made by Dan Janes. the cue has an Ivory Joint, and ivory ferrules on both shafts with moori tips.

This cue is for sale still. I've had some very reasonable offers on it. Some I've probebly should have taken. Given the response this cue has had. I'm shocked it's still here.

to the top

I was putting a fe new cues on az. I figured why not bump the others i have on here already.

cue

I had an offer on ebay for the cue, I should probebly take it. I want to give az here onther chance to pm any best offers by monday.
There's been so much interest on the cue I almost hate to sell it.

Available

This cue was going to be sold but the deal fell through. The price was 1250.00. The buyer decided to buy one directly from Joss and pay 200 more. I have no idea why his cues is still not finished and it will probebly be a few more weeks. .

IF someone else can meet the 1250 price the cue is yours. 1 shaft is now chalked but not very mutch at all.
The Cue is 99.9 percent perfect. the .o1 is the chalk on 1 shaft.

bump

Bumping to the top. I noticed some people looking for cues with ivory joints and ferrules.

I'd agree with you best case, worst case scenario's, except the price. Find any other Joss cues that are selling close to that...

Veneers do not look like Titlist form here, fwiw. Still a good looking cue.

I agree with you if you are talking about Joss production Cues, obviously you are not familar with the cues coming out of the Joss Custom Shop. Dan Jane's also makes One of a kind Custom cues, some are signed with the date and others are not. But, I can tell you this, Joss has not made a Production cue in the last 15 to 20 years with an Ivory Joint, two shafts with Ivory Ferrules, and with a Full Spliced Butt that wasn't a limited production or One of a Kind.

When Danny starts making cues like this their quality is equal to any Joss West with a similar design. So to clearly make my point there is nothing Bill Stroud can do that Dan Jane's can't if he chooses to, and thats a fact.

I personally think it is great looking cue, and very very traditional. I wish Joss would go back to V-spliced points on their high end cues with their old style traditional stitch rings now that would be great.

To the OP of this thread Good Luck with your sale!!

Thank you.

I've been to the Joss shop quite a few times and I've seen cues like this at different stages in their creation. They take alot of time to make and Dan doesn't make very many. In the six years or so I've been selling joss cues This was only the second or third I remember seeing like this.

Also, When people think production cue and this is by no means a production cue. I think they have a dfferent idea of what it is. IT's not a high tech factory with everything automated. the amount of hand work that goes into these cues is very misunderstood.
