To Review or Not to Review -- THAT is the Question

Welcome back, PJ.

Business will definitely be picking up now!

It just hasn't been the same without ya.

I'm sure you'll beat me, you've got pretty much nothing to lose. I'm just looking for someone to play.

You're like a pimple between your nose and upper lip... one of those that are bothersome and won't pop. Eventually, when you're patient --- they pop like a volcano all over the mirror.

A kinder, gentler PJ returns! Please do not again say to the moderator, a la Monsieur Rick, "Go ahead and shoot, you'll be doing me a favor."

I couldn't let you burn in AzB alone. :)

I'll offer my $.03 on the dvd after I've seen it.

What I see here so far is business as usual: "naysayers" offering substantive comments and questions that the CTE choir can only respond to with personal attacks and "you just don't get it" (is that really the best argument for the dvd that was supposed to answer all the questions?).

PJ:

If you want to borrow my copy of the Perfect Aim DVD, private email me your address and I'll mail it to you.

Pat...It was nice to see you last week, even if just for a minute. I have to admit I was unaware of your 'permanent ban'! LOL Glad to see you back posting. Please try not to lump all the CTE "choir" into the same group. You won't find me making personal attacks (about CTE...and rarely anything else), whether someone "gets it" or not. I'll be back in Chicago tomorrow and Wed. Maybe I'll see you over at Pressure!

I reviewed Perfect Aim over a year ago (and got pretty much the same reception - by some of the same systemheads - as reviews of CTE are getting here).

Maybe you mean Stan's CTE dvd? I've already got that covered, but thanks for the thought.

I'll look for you, Scott. I'm usually there early evening during the week - maybe 6-9 or so.

Thank you for honesty in your review.

This thread had me on the verge of replying Post or AirBarrel. *shutting down photoshop, and putting away that milk carton jpg.* :D

I dub thee Karl Malone, as you deliver. There has been too many bad postings on hairdildos and x-rays that never see the light of day. Your review made up for all that.

BTW, can you post a copy in Review Section, so it doesn't get buried in the main forum.

Alrighty -- Mister Malone! Thanks.

First, a post about 2 asian girls, somebody getting 'stiffed' and not a single boob in the entire thread.

Now this? The quality just isn't the same any more..

And all I can think about for the direction this thread is heading is this:

The truth is that all you have to do is read the Answering Question thread on PRO1/Cte or whatever to see that he is right.

I just think it's been out of some kind of weird respect that all the naysayers have been so quiet after the release of the DVD.

Nobody wanted to go first :-)

Lou, do you see the same problem(s) with back-hand english, front-hand english, or a combination of both?

A motion that is an integral part of de setup and built into de stroke delivery vs an alignment change for the porpoises of aiming without due consideration for de delivery of de stroke.

for everyone who
liked viola

I think there is a big difference between 1) pivoting to center cue ball. and then, misalligned, taking practice strokes and shooting; and, 2) maintaining proper allignment, taking practice strokes and then when pulling the trigger slightly swooping the cue off to one side or the other. Backhand english happens in a single swoop, not allowing time for one to feel awkward. JMHO

I think I was trying to say something like this. But I like your version better :-)
