To those present at the Super Billiards Expo . . .

OK, here's what I got so far:

Oops! This is not gonna be easy, especially on the phone from a 3G connection.

For anyone who may *not* know what a group selfie is, here's one that Ellen took a few weeks ago. It shut down Twitter because of all the hits. Quite popular and has recently become a trend. It's growing in popularity.

Only to people with issues:rolleyes:

OK, back at the room for a quick nap, thought I'd post these first.

Here's on of the Fury gang. Don't know who the good-lookin' guy in the middle is, but he was at their table practicing some one-hole. Looked like he could shoot a little, so we stuck him in the picture.

Here's the gang from NYC Grind. Most bad photographers cut the head off. Alison was a little better and only cut off her chin!

It's true! Germans DO have more fun!!! (at least German pool players seem to!)

These guys may seem dead serious at the table while they're playing, but off the table they're just a couple of guys who like to "monkey around"...

Man, oh, man, Sloppy Pckets, these are GREAT. You are the best!

I enjoyed seeing Allison, and those German pros are so funny. Get some more. I love this. That John Schmidt never ages. He always has that golden smile.

Thanks again. I really enjoyed these. Hope to see more [hint-hint]. ;)

OK...

My wife and I decided to skip the show on Sunday and visit my son and his girlfriend in nearby Brooklyn. Then I saw how JAM was pleading with me to get a few more, and I thought, "What the hell? We already paid for the pass, let's go over to catch the 11:30 matches and leave for Brooklyn after they're done."

So I managed to get a few more to post here:

I happened to walk by the Mezz booth and I caught this Fab Four all there at the same time. They were all very willing, but somewhat photographically challenged. After several blurry efforts, Mika proved he was Master of the Selfie and fired off this one. I think this is a keeper for sure, the best of the bunch.

Here's the crew from JB Cases. Why is the man in the middle smiling so hard? Could it be because he knows he's going to be at least $10,000 richer on March 18?

Here's a twofie of Thorsten and my sweetie. She couldn't get that grin off her face for an hour. That's because Thorsten is one on her two favorite players. Notice that both she and Thorsten are wearing Q-pod neck tags? H-mmm... wonder what was up with that?

Sorry, these aren't groupies, but I just had to include these Thorsten took of himself. What a character! I was trying to help him pick a game face for his upcoming match.

I told him the first one looked too cool, so he took another one. That one came out looking too arrogant. The third time was a charm, the face just about everyone sees in their minds whenever they play Toastie.

It seemed to have little effect on Earl, though.

Oh, man, that one is the best one. I love, love, love these, Sloppy Pockets!:cool::cool::cool:

One more groupie, but it's not at the Expo Center. It was taken at a little joint in Brooklyn called "Propellers". The artisan pizza there is to die for. Here we are in all our glory:

Oldest son Nic on the left, his beautiful and wonderful girlfriend Heather on the right, my precious and stunningly gorgeous wife Rose to center right, and some ugly old guy they found out on the street passed out in the gutter. They brushed him off, gave him three shots of bourbon, and stuck in the pic at center left.

Man, these selfies sure make you look funny. I promise you, we are all WAY more beautiful in real life.

So that's about it. There were a couple groupie ops that fizzled away after waiting a long time, and that was frustrating, but I didn't miss out on anything I wanted to do or see, so it was all fine in the end. The most disappointing one of all was trying to get one of the guys at OB with Mike Dechaine. Try as they might, they just couldn't anything but Mike's head in the photo.

Sorry, Mainplayer, just couldn't resist such an easy gag.:sorry:

So that's it. Looks like my chances of winning the pool related prize are not looking too bad at the moment. Hope you all had fun looking at all them. I know I had a lot of fun getting them all.

People like you make this forum GREAT. Send me a PM with your postal address. I got a little pool-related something I want to mail to you.

Thank you for bringing a little fun to those of us back home who couldn't go. This last selfie is GREAT of your family. You should frame this one. Years from now, you will really enjoy gazing at this photo, remembering the good times you all had. :)

Sweet blessings to you and yours!
