Todds CNC and Recent Quilted Redwood

I think you will recall the Quilted RedWood recently sold on AZ. You can see a small square section in photo. It was cut round to 1.300 and will be the Handle to the Ebony Fron and Butt Sleeve shown in photo. The Square will be cut round for Rings. I believe I will put an Ivory Joint and Ivory Rambo Ring with it.

The cut from Square to round was done in 3 passes. It has not been sanded, what you see is how Todds lathe cuts.

The quilted redwood looks really gorgeous, getting excited looking at it. I bought a couple from Larry and he was great to deal with, I have the wood for a very special cue it's going to be a while but its definitely gonna be worth the wait.
