And who is the cuemaker in this case? I don't recognize the cue. Thanks.

Cue looks nice but without the I.D. of the maker potential buyers will stray away. GL with the sale man.

I'll trade you my cue for it. Sorry no pics, but the cuemaker is alive! Really precious to me as well. I think mine is worth $800, so will you send me yours +$100? On second thought, I will trade you my $800 cue for your $700 cue! Great deal for you. Also forgot to mention, both of the shafts with my cue have holes!

Why no mention of builder...Whats the big mystery? What is the line/scratch along the shaft? Is that half of a guitar? Is there a story behind that? Shaft with hole?

I guess the cuemaker is Edwin Reyes..
about the hole in the shaft..I remember the General (dealer bebot bautista cues) had also a cue with such kind of shaft.....

Edwin invented that shaft configuration.
Edwin never used that joint pin though as far as I can remember.
I worked at Edwin's shop for about a month.

RIP Edwin.

Aiming sightline?

Lower end mass / less deflection?

Really straight table ding?

Scott

Can someone elaborate on the shaft hole deal? I dont understand...surely I'm not the only one so I'll speak up!

Looks like an Edwin Reyes, but it is more likely one from his Doc Holiday series. I sold one with the exact same pin HERE

mistery cue

The line must be the hole. (Sawed in) It's an old Roman trick to take your opponants attention off the game. ( He keeps wondering what kind of cue you have and what the hole is for. But if he happens to ask you won't tell him.

Edwin did use that joint pin. I have two cues that use it.

Yes, the shaft was Edwins lower end mass / less deflection shaft. They play
great. The shaft name was ED240.I would bet that less than 100 of the shafts
was made. Edwin a great Cue maker that thought out of the box. Mike

I will trade you my sneaky with one shaft for your cue. Its not worth what your cue is worth, but I don't see why that would be a problem. Let me know.

You may want to post the specks of the cue: Length/weight/shaft diameter...

Oh wait, if you're too lazy to even post who the maker is, there is NO chance you'll know what those specks are...

Oh, and it's "Passed away", not past away :rotflmao:
