I had some interesting pictures he didn't want to get out! :)

I will let you know if I ever decide to sell it, I probably should put a note in my will so that my kids know who to contact! :)

I DON'T WISH BAD THINGS ON ANYBODY, BUT I WOULD APPRECIATE THE NOTE IN THE WILL. ALSO BE SURE TO MENTION THAT THE PRICE IS 500 BUCKS, THAT WAY I GET A DEAL.

Thanks for all of the positive comments! I have been collecting cues for a while, it is great being on a site when cues are truely appreciated!

It is also nice being on a site with many other collectors, dealers and cue makers that share so much information. I have learned more about cues in the last year on this site then I learned in the previous 30 years.

I hope to one day set up at the ICC to put my cues on display, when I am able to make it I will definitely let the board know!

As far as the twins: "I gave a Ken an offer he couldn't refuse!" :) - The poor horse! Actually I was just very fast responding to his email!

For the people who asked what I do for a living I am a computer programmer. I have been fortunate enough to work for myself for the last 20 years and love what I do for a living. I have invested in other people and businesses and done pretty well along the way.

More pictures to follow after I clear off my pool table!

Wow...I am truly impressed by your collection, and thanks for telling us a little about yourself! Humble, honest and own the Searing Twins....If you ever need a place to crash in Montreal, no problem! (just bring the Twins...:) )

I was six when it was stolen, so I don't think he could prosecute me for the crime! I talked with him about five years ago about the cue before I purchased it and he only had good things to say about the cue. He figured it had changed hands so many times since it had been stolen that he wouldn't ask for it back. After that news I decided to buy the cue, Grady has offered to write a letter about the cue but I haven't had him do this. It was the 2nd cue Bill Stroud made after he split up and went on his own and gave it to Grady.

I will put you in the will also!

Take care!

just keep it coming...why why why why you don't have an arthur cue?...contact cornerstone *bill* and you should have SHOWMAN too and SCRUGGS or else i won't call it a complete collection :P

oh by the way DANKTREES told me his starting his own collection too...he will collect all CUETEC cues hahaahaha

Now THAT is a collection !!

you should have Christie's set up a private auction for you if you ever decide to cash out...

out of curiosity, which one do you play with most regularly ?

I am interested in purchasing a Showman and also a Haley. If the right Scruggs catches my eye I will definitely have one of those also in my collection.

I am not sure why but Arthur cues don't interest me and I don't plan on owning one at this time.

I play with either my Barry Szamboti, Gus Szamboti, Gilbert or Searing. I keep a P2 predator in my car for playing at the bars.

I still have to post pictures of my Gilberts, Andy is a good friend of mine and I love the way his cues play.

lemme get in on the will too since everyone else is lol i'm a big fan of dennis's work, on his waitlist right now. the twins caught my eye from day one. although i can probably only afford 1 of them lol.

one thing i wanted to ask, did u buy all these cues off other ppl or were some of them custom made for u? if so which ones?

keep dreaming, pretty soon i'm gonna run u off the pool tables and force u to go back to snooker.

there's nothing wrong wtih cuetecs, they are good cues...just not for playing pool.

I sure miss my old cues (#3 and #4 from the right):( . Do you get to play with them frequently? Out of all the cues I have owned over the last 35 yrs., those pair of Searings were by far the best hitting cues I ever wrapped a fist around. I hope you are getting as much enjoyment from them as I did. If I'm ever up your way I'll drop in to visit them if it's OK with you John. Thanks, Paul:D :D :D
