Tell them that these latches are too weak for a cue case. I have been down that road and these latches WILL BREAK.
I'd also reccomend not using those types of feet as they are prone to breaking easily. Also people tend to want the case to stand up and that grouping will make it tipsy.
Otherwise nice efforts. The protection level is the same as most of the import Porper knockoffs as they are using the same interiors. You all have heard me rant about those and the issues with foam core beading inside the cavities that plague them.
To me they are putting new covers on existing interiors that they don't build so I'd say "half-casemakers" ;-)

Well, not really. Because this is a good example of what a real leatherworking shop can do in this genre. They have made a few newbie mistakes that are typical of people who don't understand CUE cases but the general workmanship is good and typical of good leather working craftsmanship.
I am sure that this case is a real beauty in person and that you are getting lots of compliments on it.
I can see them getting some business for sure. I like some of the other cases they have done a little more than this one just because I find those designs more interesting.

You should really advise them to drop the latches though. Those are designed for purses and are poison to a heavy leather case where all the weight is supported at that point.
Trust me, I know this all too well.
