Driving is a horror show in the downtown area - all sorts of construction.
If you are using public transportation, getting to places not on the subway can be a major pain.
Perhaps subway + taxi.
Shooters is not on the subway, but has 50+ tables, including 5 snooker tables IIRC, but does not have a web site. In a mall.

Annex Billiards is on Bloor West, east of the Bathurst subway stop - about an even spit between pool and snooker tables if you want to try out a big table..

During the day the snooker tables were $4.50/hr the only time I was there, a few months ago.
The newest one - The Corner Bank
http://www.thecornerbank.ca/index.html
But looking at the web site: no hours of operation, no menu for the hungry, and table descriptions are future tense:
The Corner Bank will have 8 Shender Snooker tables
Each one will have Hainsworth professional snooker cloth
The Corner Bank will be offering 28 Diamond pool tables
Better call first
Just got an email back from Jim Wych:
Projected opening in
early mid September at which time the hours will be posted on the site.
