Here are the 2 I built that I've used for years.

Nice booths!
Mine isnt going to be anywhere near as big as that.
just the lathe, a light and a price list :)

If I can figure out how to post pics, I will when its done.
I'm hoping to have it finished by the middle of january

i use a fold up rubber maid table .
i cannot get my lathe into the back of my suv.
mike

I've given the idea of putting it into the back of my Escalade up..

I'm going to have to use my work van to deliver and pick up, oh well I can't have it all I guess :)

booth

i can carry my lathe, pool cue and case, and vac. in one trip.that will do tips ferrules and clean shafts,(all the supplies included),and i can still open my own doors, if a wrap is called for i would have to make another trip to the suv for the wraps and other tools needed(two more carring cases).it takes me less than 5 min.to set up.

Here's my progress so far.
I used my old large bed and got a new big bore mid size cue smith headstock to use on this portable lathe.
This pic" if it loads" is in my garage. I'm just putting some clear on the maple. The light is from a single 4' led tube.
It's mounted on a rigid miter saw stand.
I think this is going to work really good :)
Once I get the signage for the front done I'll try to put another pic or two up

That looks good Darcy. Specially with mounted shelf and light.

Alas, we lost a team member who moved out of town for work. Unless he comes in, we don't have the players with enuff weeks in to play in the Edmonton tourney this year.

I was looking forward to meeting up with you.

That sucks!
Yoyu never know, you could find someone last minute.
My little mobile workshop is coming together, I put the last coat of clear on, now just to figure out a way to stock it without totally duplicating my home setup

Here's a few pics. Booth is almost done.
Just waiting for some led lights to arrive from eBay to light up the top sign.
Notice I installed a key to lock off the power to the booth when I'm not there :)

Do they check id? Slip me in & just tell me his name. I can make a ball here & there.

Nice set up Darcy...that should put some coins in your till. :)

That's why I'm slow in the emails :)
Been working in this thing all night
Almost got it in operating shape!

Kevin, normally that might work except I am friends with our local LO.
Otherwise we'd love to have you.

Darcy, I just noticed the Sons of Anarchy logo.
