Trade website for cue

I am a professional software engineer and I do website work on the side for extra cash. I also play a lot of pool - but I'm a much better programmer than I am a pool player :)

Anyway, I'd like to trade a custom website for a custom cue. The complexity of the cue will be directly related to the complexity of the website. So if you just want a single page site with an intro about you and some images I wouldn't expect a fancy top of the line veneered/inlayed cue. I am able to program pretty much anything you'd want on the site though, so if you want advanced things like a shopping cart or the ability to sell items on the site then of course I would expect a more high end cue for that.

Here are a couple of my sites for reference (designed/programmed by me):
http://www.cueexchange.com/
http://www.superchargersonline.com/
http://www.whipplesuperchargers.com/

If anyone is interested let me know and we'll figure out what you want and what I would want in return. I'm already doing this with one cue maker so you'll be able to see his site once it's done.

As always if you'd rather pay cash than trade a cue that would work too. I just thought a trade would work out good for both parties. Included in the trade is the ability for you to get email at your domain name - so for example you could have yourname@yourwebsite.com The email gets forwarded to your normal email account.

Thanks,
Zach

Edit:

Here's a link to Scott Gracio's site that I did for a trade: http://www.graciocues.com
Here's a link to Mike Stacey's site this is still under construction: http://mikestaceycues.com/
Here's a link to Bob Danielson's site that is nearing completion: http://www.bdcuesandcomix.com

And here's a preview of Dan DiCola's site.

This is the opening page:

The main site design, all pages inside the site will have this look:

Yeah you can for sure make yourself dizzy from the rotating gallery! That's why there's a "Flat View" that's simply a list of images that link to the cue details.

Hope you can get your keyboard cleaned up!

Site

Nice work Zach. Funny, I did the exact thing for a cue maker a few years back. Now I build cues in my spare time and have no time to even get my site up and running. Maybe I'll be in touch if I can't get to it:wink:

Yeah just let me know - I'd be happy to help!

I'd love to make cues but just don't have the time right now. Hopefully when work slows down (in like 30 years!) I'll be able to devote some time to it.

Thanks,
Zach

I'm doing a trade for a web site with md5key. It's kewl to see my cues on a professionally built site. I had a site I built myself and it doesn't even compare.
Thanks for the excellent work.

I agree

Yes, I agree with Mason,
Your sites are "Official Looking"... You do great in your field as great as the cuemakers here on AZ.. I guess you're a Pro in your field, as these cuemakers ar Pros in theirs..On AZ...

No problem at all Scott - I can't wait to see the cue! Judging from the other cues you've posted it is going to be incredible.

Thanks Mason. Let me know when you're ready for a site! ;) Interestingly, a Google search for "Mason H Cue" brings up another of my sites as the first result: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=Mason+H+Cue&btnG=Search

Thanks Alton. I think you've earned a break though after those Tad caps you made. Those things are awesome!

Just wanted to say I just got pics of the cue Scott is trading me for a website.. It looks GREAT!!

Can't wait to get it :D

Scott's site is almost done, so if you're wanting a site I will be available to work on a new one soon.

I love my website. Thanks for the great trade.
My website is easy to navigate, loads fast, and has a shopping cart.

Dialup can log on without getting upset. That was on of the most important things with my site. If the page took too long I'd buy from the next guy.
Md5key built my site exactly how I wanted the public to see it. I add the pictures and edit it with ease. When I list a cue to the picture gallery it shows one picture. If the customers interested they click on the cue to see more detailed pictures and a description. I can load as many pictures as I want on each cue without making the customer wait for every picture.

Call me whenever you need anything on any cue.
Thanks for the great site.
