I am a professional software engineer and I do website work on the side for extra cash. I also play a lot of pool - but I'm a much better programmer than I am a pool player
Anyway, I'd like to trade a custom website for a custom cue. The complexity of the cue will be directly related to the complexity of the website. So if you just want a single page site with an intro about you and some images I wouldn't expect a fancy top of the line veneered/inlayed cue. I am able to program pretty much anything you'd want on the site though, so if you want advanced things like a shopping cart or the ability to sell items on the site then of course I would expect a more high end cue for that.
Here are a couple of my sites for reference (designed/programmed by me):
http://www.cueexchange.com/
http://www.superchargersonline.com/
http://www.whipplesuperchargers.com/
If anyone is interested let me know and we'll figure out what you want and what I would want in return. I'm already doing this with one cue maker so you'll be able to see his site once it's done.
As always if you'd rather pay cash than trade a cue that would work too. I just thought a trade would work out good for both parties. Included in the trade is the ability for you to get email at your domain name - so for example you could have yourname@yourwebsite.com The email gets forwarded to your normal email account.
Thanks,
Zach
Edit:
Here's a link to Scott Gracio's site that I did for a trade: http://www.graciocues.com
Here's a link to Mike Stacey's site this is still under construction: http://mikestaceycues.com/
Here's a link to Bob Danielson's site that is nearing completion: http://www.bdcuesandcomix.com
And here's a preview of Dan DiCola's site.
This is the opening page:
The main site design, all pages inside the site will have this look:
