Tri-state tour misfits

So can you say what exactly happened? Favoritism how?

If you don't want to name names that is fine but at least give details in what happened.

Someone is reporting fictitous match scores to websites in order to justify certain players ratings from going higher. This was witnessed by a player who watched the match. This did not happen just once. This is one example of the antics going on

Ok....what websites?

I play in the tristate....I win my match...I walk up and tell Bill, John , or Todd my match score....they write it down...

Unless you are trying to say bad scores are reported to nycgrind or something the only website reporting is those guys putting the scores on the website.

He must be a fine poster-He has maximum rep!

(just making fun of the useless rep system)

Nostroke

I never thought much of the rep system on another non related forum. But it appears to be working here just fine now. While not ever injustice gets resolved quickly it appear one injustice in this thread was.

Come on guys, most, if not all, of the handicapped tournaments are somewhat flawed, or mismanaged in one way or another. So he wants to continue playing in the tournaments, and doesn't want to put his name out there to be subjected to any unfair disadvantage because of it.

But clearly billiardsboy, you could be more specific and still not reveal your identity.

.........Huh?

PS-I know I know. He is probably giving himself rep with his real AZB ID.

I don't know you, the tour, or the situation.

But solely from your posts on these two threads, you remind me of the crybaby every week on the weekly $5 handicap tournament. Every poolroom has one. Complaining about his rating, and other people's rating. Its always the same one or two crybabies EVERY WEEK. They are the laughing stock of the tournament.

My point in saying this, is this is how you are coming across to us. If that's really your personality, then so be it. If not, then you have to find a way to express yourself in writing better than you are now.

PS, I'm also from ONE tri-state area, being PA, NJ, and DE, and I have never heard of the tour you mention. As stated before, your audience in your posts is worldwide.

I don't even know what the point of your posts are. If you are looking for sympathy, from a national/worldwide audience, then you have to explain your situation entirely. Again, very few people know what you are talking about because of the audience that is AZ Billiards.

If you are trying to find a resolution to what you believe to be happening, you should take it up with the players and the tournament directors at the events. What's the point of bringing it up here, to a national/worldwide audience? Especially when you don't even explain yourself?

I'm not intending to insult you. I'm trying to help you realize the audience and our knowledge (or non-knowledge) of your situation.

The dude said it himself in an earlier post. He got moved up when he was shooting better and now he can't maintain that level of play. Sounds like it's time to buckle down, push yourself and actually practice. Not just show up and expect a payday. That's what's wrong with tournament pool. Everyone thinks their due something....you have to take it baby!!

Another "Tri-State" area is LaCrosse, WI for WI, MN, and IA.

As far as handicapped tournaments or leagues go, there is no such thing as a perfect one and there never will be.

Obviously there are MANY "tri-state" areas. Anywhere near a boarder would be a tri-state area. But Im not sure how many "Tri-State Tour's" there are. The Tri-State Tour is a long running amateur tour in the NY/NY area that is pretty popular with B/C/D level players. I wouldn't expect anyone outside of this area to know much about it. But just to clear it up, there are many tri-state areas, but only one "Tri-State Tour".

Aside from that, it seems Mr. Billiardboy took his meds and forgot where he was.

OMG! another freaking thread from this crybaby? If your not gonna give specifics then stop wasting space on the forum. If you dont believe in gossip or name calling because of your "ethics" then dont even start the thread in the first place.

If your not man enough to give your name or take it up with the tour director personally then just keep it to yourself cause no one cares.

This guy started ANOTHER useless thread? If your gonna call peole crybabys you should be man enough to name em, or at least stop starteing useless threads.
