Trivia: Name the 'bigshots' in this pic

Dennis Dieckman just emailed me about a new "Magic Wand" he's building me - a beautiful custom masse cue - and I can't wait to get it. Evidently, someone snapped this picture during the filming of "3-Cushion Grandmaster" and gave it to Dieckman because it's a pose of me holding his cue right before a shot. He asked, "did you make it?" ;) I don't want to spoil the surprise, so I'm not going to tell you nice folks. You've got to tune in and watch the show to see. (The air date is unconfirmed, I'll keep you updated.)

This is now one of my favorite pictures because of the 'celebrity' background. Let's play, 'name the bigshots'. First one to name all the bigshots in this picture gets some rep points. (I'd offer money, but...wait, no I wouldn't. lol)

On the left, Mazin Shooni, currently #2 in the US at 3-C and last year's champion. He holds the high-run record in US championships at 18.

In the back there are a couple of guys who look like they might be somebody. Almost Deno and Mika.
 
This is like studying the Zapruder film :confused:

The guy over Helena's left shoulder wearing the orange shirt looks vaguely like Nick vandenBerg. The guy next to him looks 1/2 like John Schmidt and 1/2 like Steve Moore.

And Bob, with a gun to my head I would never have known Mazin Shooni. The only thing I know about 3 cushion is it's played on 4 cushions...

Well, I can tell that's a Dieckman Magicwandzzz in your hands...

Well that was fun. You all win, I guess. ;) I don't know the guys in the back, but for the record, and in case you overlooked it, I'm in the picture too. hehe

Eric just visit Dieckman, and saw your new masse cue. Boy its Beautiful with close to if not over a hundred inlays in it. Even my wife love it Dieckman did you Honor with this new cue coming. I also got a few pictures of it! I understand he using brass ferrule for the shafts and its a heavyweight!! Dieckman Cue are more remarkable than ever.

Man, I totally missed this response last week. That's awesome! And I can't wait to see the cue he's got going for me. People keep telling me all about it! I saw it in its rawest form at VF but since then he's said something about 100+ inlays...etc. Awesome! I can't wait! But, at the same time I told him don't rush it. I know what the man's capable of!

btw, we should have an air date for the show sometime soon.

Thanks for recognizing my blurry work! :p I don't know how Mr. Dieckman got the pic, but I suspect someone copied it and sent it in to him. Glad I could help. Don't tell Russ my intellectual property was stolen. :D :eek:
 
The guy over Helena's right shoulder looks a lot like Corey Harper (CrownCityCorey) who was with the Tiger booth in the main room.

No, I'm pretty sure that is not Corey. Corey is much cuter. ;) The man in the photo is a pool player that I have seen before, just not sure where or who he is. :confused:
 
Rackmsuckr, I hope you will share other pictures from "3Cushion Grandmaster" ,you might took. With us.

Not only did Eric use a Dieckman's Masse Cue, so was Mike Massey!

Massey, Neu, and Yow are America Masse Champion in my book.
