Can you imagine what Efren Reyes' trophy room looks like (if he keeps them all)? Or maybe he has a trophy house.

Big place. Lots of shelves .... and glass !!! LOL

But, if he doesn't keep them all .... What do you suppose he does with them ???

i remember watching the Galveston finals in one pocket and they presented him his trophy and check, by the time who ever was doing the stream got over to interview him, they wanted him to show the trophy and he had already givin it away. LOL

Wow, maybe I an conceited but I would want to keep all the trophies I won. Then again I haven't won enough to make a difference. Also I guess shipping something like that back home iis probably a Pain. I have one of those big checks that the players get for winning a Major. I asked the player how u gonna get that home, he said I have no idea, do u want it? So it is still in my garage.

I guess after you winn a couple hundred tourneys there is eitherno room or the check is the only thing that matters, unless its a lead Crystal piece of art. I wish i knew the feeling. I have my 8 and under jr swimming ribbon still hung. My trophy room liiks a little like Gaylord Fokers in Meet the Fokers, You know the shrine with 8th place ribbons etc lol.

Unfortunately, pool, being the underappreciated sport that it is, does not afford the top players the luxury of being able to afford a big home with a large area dedicated to their trophy memorabelia.

Look at the top players in other sports: Tiger Woods, Peyton Manning, Alex Rodrigez or even Serina Williams. Do you think that these people have this problem? Can you imagine what Tiger's trophy room looks like?

People keep saying that "some day" the top player in our sport will be making 2 or 3 million a year and it will make it more worthwhile for tallented players to dedicate their lives to the game. We've been saying the same thing for many years and things aren't much better now than they were 20 years ago.

I think Efren should be living in Beverly Hills. But that's just me......
