It doesn't get any better than this. Wow!

Alex is a veteran champion and has no fear in front of the camera. It will be interesting to see how Sky handles this kind of pressure. This is Sky's first Open.

Most know there is a wee bit of rivalry between Jose and Efren. IMO, Jose is, indeed, the leader of the Filipino Invasion, but Efren has received much more accolades than Jose Parica. There is a tension here. When Jose beat Efren in a California tournament about 10 years ago or so, he did not hide his glee. :D

This will be the match of the century. Efren is in dead-punch stroke right now, playing in many events. I have not heard much about Jose in recent times. Who do you like?

I would predict Efren winning 11-6 and Alex 11-9.

It will be interesting to see how close you get on those scores. Sky is comfortable on a bar table, and he has some wins under his belt on the big box. The TV table, though, is a whole nother animal. This will be a good match for sure.

Efren is 60 years old, which makes Jose, I think, 65. Both players still have a kuttke lightning in the jug. ;) This will be a good one.

This year, Jose and Mika will be inducted into the BCA's Hall of Fame ---> HERE.

Does anybody have a link or a place where we can go to see who is playing on the TV table today, Tuesday? I only know of these two matches, but it sure would be nice to know who else is playing on the TV table. TIA!

I haven't yet seen that much of Sky, but what I have seen has thoroughly
impressed me, Alex will have his hands full.

Jose, as good as he undoubtedly once was hasn't even been in a semi final
for a few years so I cannot see Efren having much of a problem with him.

Efren 11-10

Sky 11-8

Oooh, double hill for Efren and Jose would be quite exciting. :happydance::happydance::happydance:

So you like Sky over Alex. Interesting. Youth and vigor vs. Experience and comfort here.

In 2003, they put Keith on the TV table with a newbie named Shane Van Boening. Now, those who knew Shane, much like Sky today, were betting on Shane beating Keith. We had never even heard of him before. LOL In fact, the on-site bookies made Keith a 2-game dog on the odds. Keith won, but I watched this match, up front and close. I think Shane was nervous because it was the TV table, and Keith was in his element. Keith loves being in front of the camera.

So I do wonder how Sky will handle this kind of pressure. Alex, on the other hand, is comfortable as can be in front of the camera. ;)

Efren has to be a big favorite Jose just does not play much in big time events anymore
I think this might be Skyler time to prove he is not just a barbox player that kid
has something special but Alex is a proven world class player that is always one of the favorites to win any event this might be the best match of the day both matches should be very entertaining

I hope it is a close match between Efren and Jose. I know one thing for sure, Jose will be pulling every single shot out of his arsenal to beat Efren on TV.

I love Alex, but I also really admire this new kid on the block named Sky. He's got no bad habits and loves his family, to include his mother. Any man who respects and loves his mother is a gem of a person. I just like this kid a lot. This will be a tough one for me. I can't root against either one, so I can only sit back and enjoy the show.

Sky's sweet mom, who is proud as punch of her son, said on FB that Sky is comfortable on TV tables with hot lights. This should be very interesting. I can't wait!

Didn't Sky win the banks ring game at DCC or the bug fest tournament against great players on the TV table. These young guns ain't afraid of anyone or any table. Johnnyt

FB U.S. Open 9-Ball Championship page just posted these for today's schedule. Yay!

Yep he edged out Bustamante I believe to win this year's banks ring game at the Derby so it's not completely foreign territory. Also, he was on the CSI/TAR stream at the US Bar Table, but again that was 7 footers.
