Haven't seen this mentioned here yet, so I'll do that here. Thursday starts the next Turning Stone Classic. Runs from Thursday through Sunday.
Upstate Al usually has a table that he live streams, and I think he has a way to view every one of the 16 tables if you upgrade your access a bit. I know there is no fee to go watch in-person, and we usually take the drive and make a day of it for one of the days.

I've been looking for a list of competitors, which Mike Zuglan usually doesn't release prior, so it may not be public yet.

Mike Z is the operator of the Joss Northeast Tour of which this Turning Stone event is one of the stops

Is that what you're asking or was it something else?
Familiar but the headline is CHAMPION Mike Zuglan. Just struck me like he needed the rep or something. I don't recall the other Turning Stones promoted that way.

I dont see "Champion" maybe was edited. Btw, and you may know, MZ was one helluva player and world class at 14.1, although that is currently being redefined/

Anybody think Jayson will be in stroke for TStone? ;)

If he still has energy to win TS he's definitely an Alien.

Not a lot of A list talent there, I wonder why so many pros are done with this tournament?

My money is on Moritz Neuhausen

Numerous pros have said over the years they can't stand the racking rules among other things. Also this is a regional tour event and supposedly fills out completely nearly a year in advance, at least that is what many have said on here repeatedly. So which non-regional pros are going to plan that far out in advance. Has the great Matchroom published a schedule yet?

Is that it? I seem to recall that the rules are no racking shenanigans like over inspecting the rack, and certain pros are still allowed to do this to a point where it becomes tedious.

there was a bet offering to take Shaw to win vs the entire TStone field at even money and nobody bit
I would have given the OP action, but there isn’t an advanced players list anymore. Mike‘s only way to prevent a calcutta is to wait until the last minute to release a bracket. Stinks for those of us who want to bet before the event starts. Personally, I like Lee Van Corteza’s chances.
