One is Redwood lace burl and Ebony with Ivory. Strange looking Ebony.
The second is Quilted babinga (my favorite wood) and curly maple.

I can't decide if I want to inlay or not.

......................

The Quilted Babinga in the bottom cue is my favorite wood. I've never seen any wood with as much character.

Dont inlay the bubinga cue, it is georgous just like it is.... Some cues just say more with less, this is one of them. JMHO.....

Nice work Scott. You're right, that bubinga is crazy! Really nice wood. I like the piece of ebony you chose also. It's very unique and stands out. I think a standard 'black' piece of ebony would just be boring next to that bubinga. Can't wait to see it finished. I bet everything jumps out even more than it already is.

I edited my thread because I had the woods backwards. The top wood is the Redwood burl and the bottom is Quilted Babinga.

Both cues have figured that is so natural. They don't need inlays.

Can you PM the fullspec and how much for both?

I charge $550.00 for a merry widow. The Ivory adds $100.00 the the build so the Ivory cue is $650.00.
I always pay for shipping.

Both cue look great. These will be two of my favorite Merry widows I've built. If somebody wants one let me know and I'll finish them to hit the way you like. Thats what custom cues are. Built to fit your game. If I can't I didn't do my job and I'll give your money back. The sad thing is you have to give me the pretty cue back.

do not inlay either of them!!!!!! let that gorgeous wood do the talking for you!! i really like that bubinga cue. might have to snatch that one up. keep up the great work. nothing but quality as far as ive seen.

The Babinga is spoken for. The Burl and Ebony will get listed in the for sale when it's finished.
