These turned out just perfect. The Brazilian Rosewood is SO dark and Ill have to wait for the sun to come out to get some better photos. The Fleur De Lis cue is just stunning as well, his inlays are PERFECT and SHARP! His inlay work on the rings is just amazing, razor sharp and each diamond has a silver dot in middle of it! I guess his Bridge work isnt that bad either. Check them out.

Chris is a talented cue builder!
His cues both look great, play great, and he's one hell of a nice guy,
I wouldn't suggest borrowing his wood source long term!!

Congrats,
Now lets see a close up of the bridge points!!!!

Thanks Dale and yeah I will get some better photos. The weather here in Idaho hasnt been conducive for nice shots.

Chris makes a great playing cue with looks to match. I had a chance to play with one for several hours and thoroughly enjoyed. I like how he puts his twist on all of his cues.

Congrats!

I know Chris. I have been to his home and shop. I have seen a number of his cues in person. Pictures do not show the full detail and perfection of his work.
You really have to hold one in your hands to truly appreciate the skill this man has at making cues.

killer rings

i've only heard about Byrne cue's, never seen any, like the way he did the joint,
he doesnt hold back on fancy :)

Hey

chris is making some very HOT cues these days......my two kids are loving their Byrne daily players.

.

Really good looking cue. I met Chris at ICCS and he's a super nice guy to boot.

some quality veneer and inlay work, and of course you take the best pictures around. On par with Jive

I need to start using my girlfriend's new and fancy camera and challenge you guys ahaha

Thanks mel_smog. You would be amazed at what you can do with a point and shoot camera. I do use very nice camera but it's not needed.

Your photos are quite good. Someone needs to hold a cue photography class at the Sbe every year. Lol. I would attend
