Yeah, I kind of left out the 1990s, where Efren, Strickland, Archer were the dominant players. It is arguable whether any of them dominated in the way that those named in my post did. Interestingly enough, both Efren and Earl offered that Mike Sigel was the best pool player they had ever seen and their toughest ever opponent.

Earl won Five US Opens and Three World Nine Ball Titles.

I don't think Mike's career matches those achievements.

Meanwhile Dennis spotted Darren the eight ball in Ten Ball and robbed him. All the other players were hesitant to gamble with him and basixally he was spottiing the world with only one or two exceptions. He and Alex were friends and didn't gamble. Even Shane was very careful making games with Dennis!

Sfu, you're a great pool fan but not a player. You want to know who the best player is ask the players. Back then they all said Dennis. Same as the Parica era. Everyone knew he was the bedt player.

Jay, you are a great fan, great announcer, and all-around cool dude. However, you are mistaken on Stu not being a player. He is an accomplished 14.1 player. (I hope he doesn't mind me saying so...I don't think he is looking for action ).
